“We have a small older condo, originally with a claustrophobic and inefficient kitchen. We were planning on a whole-house remodel including the kitchen and two bathrooms and had been looking at several cabinet companies. At the Planet Cabinets showroom we talked with Ofer and chose the semi-custom Wynnbrooke line.

We had five areas of the house we were designing for: the kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, and a storage nook. We were able to find a wood, finish color, and door style we liked that was consistent across the entire house. They were also able to get the countertop material we wanted. Ofer provided measurement drawings and 3D renderings of each area that greatly helped us understand the options available and finalize decisions.

Some things had to be decided after demo when we could see what was really possible in the space. Ofer met with us and provided options and expert guidance. Our final layouts are far better than the original building design! The kitchen and island are now spacious, beautiful, and with more storage than we ever thought possible.

“The Len Roofing team tore off and replaced my roof, installed new ridge vents and replaced 2 skylights all in one day. They were careful to protect my bushes and driveway during the process and did an excellent job cleaning up the work area including a magnetic sweep for any stray nails. I definitely recommend contacting them.“

“We have a 2-bedroom 2-bath condo townhome with attached garage built in the late 1980's. Everything was still original, and after almost 40 years the interior was really falling apart. It was going to have to be a total gut job.

We spent several months looking for the right team. After our first chat with Ofer at Maya Construction Group, we knew we had found them. We are beyond happy with our decision!

The total scope was very large: brand-new kitchen, two brand-new bathrooms, brand-new electrical box + wiring/outlets/switches, overhead lighting, fireplace insert, a new fireplace, interior doors, all-new cabinets, all-new hardwood floors and tile, patch and paint walls, wiring for ethernet, and even a new attic ladder. We saved three appliances in the garage for re-use, and the crew re-installed and fully tested them. Ofer told us that it would be about five months overall due to various factors, and that's exactly how it played out.

From start to finish, Ofer and the whole Maya Construction team were fantastic! We were kept up-to-date all along. A lot of small decisions came up due to what was found along the way, and we were provided options and expert guidance that came together absolutely beautifully. “Working with Joel and Unique Deck Builders has been one of the best construction project experiences we're ever experienced. We had to have our deck torn apart and removed to fix a bad roof on a small condo building in Chicago. Joel removed the existing deck and salvaged as much of the materials (mostly outdoor kitchen equipment) as possible, and then entirely rebuilt our rooftop with new Deckorators composite decking and the salvaged items. The finished product is beautiful and much better than what it was before, which had been done by a different rooftop builder originally. All of Joel's team was great to work with! They were all pleasant, fun, interactive, and willing to modify what they were doing to meet both our expectations and their own of themselves. Lastly, Joel himself has been fabulous to work with. He made many stops here before we started to make sure he had a good grasp of what was wanted/needed, and then periodically along the way as the project progressed. I feel that he not only was a contractor, but that we became friends along the way as well.
