Sit Social Pet Boarding Training

“Josie LOVES sit social and we absolutely love to bring her here because we can tell how happy and excited she gets when we arrive just at the door. Once we walk inside, she forgets about me and dashes into the room! The people who work here are really sweet and kind, making it trustworthy for us to bring Josie here. We love receiving the pup updates during Josie’s stay here and seeing the cutest photos! I’ve done a ton of research before selecting a daycare to bring Josie to and this place definitely gave me a sense a relief. Thank you Sit Social for loving Josie as much as we do.“

Bow Wow Behavioral Pet Boarding Training

“I can’t say enough great things about Bow Wow Behavioral! I've done board & train and in home training and the progress George has made since starting with them has been incredible—he’s calmer, listens so much better, and our walks are actually enjoyable now. Ty, Kyle, and Laura are true pros who clearly love what they do. They take the time to explain things, tailor their approach to each dog, and celebrate every little win along the way. It’s been such a rewarding experience watching George grow with their guidance. If you’re looking for a team that’s knowledgeable, kind, and truly committed to helping dogs and their owners succeed, Bow Wow Behavioral is the one to call.“

“We’ve been sending our dog(s) there since 2017 and it’s always been great. Sean is super flexible on pickup/drop off days. The vans have AC for the summer, which is uncommon. All of his employees are super friendly and you can tell they love the dogs just as much as we do. And best of all, the dogs love it and come home tired. Pack Life is the best!“

Burnham Park Animal Hospital Pet Boarding Training

“I just wanted to give a big shout out for this veterinary hospital. They are in it for the right reason; to be there for animals. I am a hospital owner and credentialed veterinary technician in Florida visiting this beautiful city, and I found a terminally ill pigeon, and they helped me help this poor bird.
Thank you for being there for all animals!!!“

“While Jesse helped us make progress on our pup’s behavioral issues and overprotectiveness, what I think we appreciate most is how much better we can communicate with our gal. We understand *how* she thinks. Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to break down how each word and action is interpreted by our dog. Now, our communication with our pup is clearer, she’s happier and less frustrated, we can read situations and anticipate actions. She can have more freedom and independence. Our bond and our trust is stronger in each other.

Struggles with resource guarding and even darting after squirrels is less and less as we continue to use the tools Jesse has shared. And we have the skills to apply to many situations which is empowering.

We are so happy to have found the crew at Canine Perspective. They are all warm, attentive, and most importantly, great at what they do! Jesse was great with answering tons of specific questions in sessions and over email. He had solutions to all the behavioral roadblocks wed hit after other training programs.

It’s been so rewarding and such a relief. So many folks think that your dog will never be an off-leash dog, or that you just have to live with reactivity, avoiding certain situations. Jesse proves that, if you put in the work and understand your dog, that does not have to be the case. Thank you! What a gift to have his talent and this uniquely-structured daycare in Chicago.
Can't wait to get her on one of your treadmills!“

“I have taken my dog to Higgins for a few years, my gf from Roscoe Village had referred me to Higgins Vet.
Everyone there was so attentive and nice, the receptionists were always so cordial and always called me back promptly.
During Covid the operations changed and it was absolutely fine, we parked in the back at their designated lot and called in and someone came to see and pick up our dog to take it to a consultation while we waited.
Thank you for being the best vets in town!“

Leash Drop Canine LLC Pet Boarding Training

“Hasani is more than your average dog trainer. He has an expert-level understanding of canine behavioral shaping and modification strategies. Virgil, our 11-month-old Doberman Pinscher, completed the 3 week board and train program. He was already a good boy, but still had some annoying puppy behaviors and needed more obedience in general, as he could be quite willful at times. When Virgil returned from the board and train, his behavior was vastly improved, and many of his annoying behaviors were virtually eliminated. He also acquired many new skills and commands that make it easier to manage him in any situation, and help him to better regulate fears and anxieties so that he is a more calm and confident dog.Hasani took a lot of time to really educate on how to interact with Virgil for the best results. I learned a lot about proper leash-handling, behavioral redirection, and productive play that I never would have considered, and haven’t heard from any other trainer or class. This continues into the generous follow-up sessions that he provides. We wanted Virgil to be the sort of dog that can be taken to public spaces, social gatherings, and on trips. Hasani certainly delivered on this. I would say that the program works for more than just dogs with problem behaviors, and is a great investment in providing the best quality of life for you and your dog. Hasani is patient, knowledgeable, and clearly brings a high level of integrity into his work.“

Downtown Dogs Chicago Pet Boarding Training

“Downtown Dogs Chicago has changed our and our dog’s life forever.
They are worth every penny and more !
Our bulldog was reactive to other dogs and had fear aggression.
We did private behavioral classes with A trainer at another facility and group ones which did not correct any of the issues.
He was kicked out of day care and we were sad and desperate.
A friend recommended Downtown Dogs and our lives turned for the better.
Henry went through the training and the dog we got back was A completely different animal.
2 years later we still go to group classes once in A while and have kept up with everything we were taught.
Thank you to all the trainers , Ari and Aliya“

“I've used Hyde Bark for years now to take care of our cat whenever I'm out of town. They have provided fantastic care every time -- they always show up when scheduled, send a detailed email with photos, and have always been responsive when needed. It's always hard to leave our dear cat for any amount of time, but it's a little easier when I know she's in good hands with Hyde Bark.“

Delta Animal Hospital Pet Boarding Training

“Mila, our pitbull had bone cancer and we opted for euthanasia, she was 10 years and 5 months old. It was a very sad decision to make, but we were so glad we had the chance to have her checked by a very knowledgeable veterinarian at Delta Animal Hospital, she was very honest with us and didn’t intend to profit more when it was clear survival chances were not likely. The staff was very helpful and kind, even though they had to explain to me more than once, I think I wasn’t ready for this, initially I had hope that something more was possible to save Mila’s life but this wasn’t the case. Thanks to the staff for taking us at last. We could stay through all the process, they also offer us to keep the ashes if we wish to. Thanks to the doctor for being so kind to explain to me and answer all my questions throughly and with honesty. The cost was pretty affordable. We plan to take our other dogs to update their vaccines and renew their licenses. Keep in mind you need to get there between 9am and 11am, before noon to register in the waiting list, they close around 4pm and Thursdays and Sundays (if not mistaken).- I would highly recommend and they have staff that speak multiple languages, including Spanish. And you could find free parking on one of the adjacent/side streets.“

“I recently took my dog, Steffy, to SBK Dog Club, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive.

The grooming itself was top-notch, Steffy came out looking clean, well-trimmed, and smelled great! I also appreciated the detailed report they gave me about her behavior and any issues they noticed during grooming.

I highly recommend SBK Dog Club to any pet owner looking for a reliable and caring grooming service. We will definitely be returning!“
