I adopted a mother (Rey) and son (Vader) dachshund from a rescue. Rey was rescued from a puppy mill and like most dogs from a puppy mill she was extremely fearful of people and animals. She was afraid to be picked up by anyone other than me. One day we were outside and a single person walked by and she didn't stop barking for 45 minutes! That is when I knew I needed help. I reached out to Valeria. Fast forward six months later, I now have a dog who while still having fear issues, recovers quickly and actually handled my husband and I leaving for a few hours while a dog sitter came to the house to spend time with Rey and Vader. I can tell you six months prior I wasn't sure we would ever get to this point. We listened to Valeria's guidance and worked the program. While we still have work to do, the knowledge Valeria has for working with fearful dogs is without a doubt invaluable. The K9 Homeschool program takes work. But if you put in the effort with Valeria's guidance you will achieve what you want. I was very worried that not attending physical classes wouldn't be beneficial for me. However I was very wrong. I learn by repetition. Having constant access to the training videos which I can watch over and over again benefited my learning much more so than a single class once a week. The online program allows user to post videos of their progress during the week which allows Valeria (and other students) to comment and provide guidance. This way you aren't just getting a single lesson once a week but many more. Never did a situation pop up that Valeria didn't have an answer to or a suggestion on how to correct an issue. So much of the knowledge I gained from this program will last not only with these dogs but any others I might have in the future. I can't thank Valeria enough for equipping me with the tools I need to provide the best for my dogs.

Valeria did an amazing job working with my dog on correcting her undesirable behaviors. She provided personalized training tips and tools based on the needs of my dog. She did training inside my home which helped me see exactly how to follow through with the new training tips and it allowed my dog to be comfortable in her own home. Valeria uses positive behavior training using the clicker method and I think this is 100% the most effective way to train your dog. She formed a strong bond with my dog and I know that my dog would love have her back for more training sessions anytime! If you are looking for a patient and caring dog trainer... I would highly recommend Valeria!
