Pet boarding/training in Downers Grove

“Canine kingdom has been awesome in training and watching our year and a half old German Shepherd puppy. Our dog loves Carlos the trainer and Tina who has home boarded him as well and taken great care of him.

He completed the knight school and crown champion trainings and the result is a more obedient, confident and off-leash dog! Carlos is a very experienced, calm confident trainer and was able to transfer what they practiced everyday to us as the owners. He answered lots of our questions about our dog’s quirks and negative behaviors and the tips he gave us have all worked great.

The format for training is very organized which was a great environment for learning for our Shepherd. The dogs are all trained to be neutral and relaxed all in the same room together on their own place beds. It’s incredible to see and a great option for the dogs to practice discipline as opposed to a more chaotic playgroup which our dog doesn’t do well in.

So nice to bring our dog somewhere everyday where we trust Tina and Carlos completely. Our dog loves them and is happy to be there and engaged all day.“

Tammy answered all of my questions and prepared everything needed for my dog's health certificate. Dr. Graham did an exam on my dog and had a very kind demeanor throughout our appointment which is always appreciated.

I travel very often with my dog and even still, there's a lot of really confusing information on the web about what's required for specific countries when traveling with a pet (and that can get stressful quick) but Downers Grove Animal Hospital made sure I had all of the information I needed and I ended up getting the health certificate back the same day, which was a relief. Results may vary as the hospital isn't responsible for when the USDA processes the health certificate but I would highly recommend this animal hospital for their overall efficiency and thoroughness.
