“Michael and his team recently completed a full remodel of my condo bathroom including shower, tile, flooring and glass installation. Overall I am very happy with the final result. The bathroom looks much more modern and updated and the shower/glass came out especially well.

I am a fairly handy person myself and was honestly nervous about having someone else do the work, but the team did a great job. They worked hard, put in full days, were respectful of the building and surprisingly quiet throughout the project, which I really appreciated in a condo environment.

“Truly exceptional, above and beyond: excellent communication, workmanship, and timeliness. A totally different dynamic than the typical contractor experience. Derrick helped me navigate a very challenging situation to rebuild the entire back wall of my home and attached deck due to water damage.

Scope: New insulation, plywood sheathing, composite siding, soffit, and fascia for back wall. Replaced rim joist, headers, and other structural wood as needed from water damage. Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout.

Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. He spent hours reviewing options and brainstorming with me as more damage was uncovered and the scope had to expand as we went. “I was very impressed by Art and his team at Casey Tuckpointing. From the start, Art walked me through a thorough assessment of my home, identifying repair needs I never would have caught myself, spanning my garage’s CMU block walls and limestone coping, the back porch corners, basement windows, east wall, front door, and concrete stairs with their flanking CMU walls.

The scope of work was substantial: grinding and tuckpointing cracked mortar joints, resetting loose limestones, removing old caulking and replacing it with properly primed Vulkem throughout, and even applying a waterproof sealer (BSM-400) to the top coping limestones on the garage. It’s the kind of comprehensive, material-specific approach that makes clear Art knows exactly what he’s doing.

His team was also proactive. They identified Tuckpointing issues beyond what we’d originally scoped and went ahead and addressed them at no additional charge. That kind of integrity is rare.

One detail that really stood out: the front concrete stairs required an additional trip while the concrete cured. Rather than rushing ahead and caulking over wet concrete, Art came back multiple times to check that it had fully dried before finishing the work. Most contractors would have cut that corner to save a trip. Art didn’t. That told me everything I needed to know about how he runs his business.

The work was done right, the communication was excellent, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Casey Tuckpointing will be my first call for any future masonry work, and I’d trust Art’s eye for inspection on any property.“

“We have a 2-bedroom 2-bath condo townhome with attached garage built in the late 1980's. Everything was still original, and after almost 40 years the interior was really falling apart. It was going to have to be a total gut job.

We spent several months looking for the right team. After our first chat with Ofer at Maya Construction Group, we knew we had found them. We are beyond happy with our decision!

The total scope was very large: brand-new kitchen, two brand-new bathrooms, brand-new electrical box + wiring/outlets/switches, overhead lighting, fireplace insert, a new fireplace, interior doors, all-new cabinets, all-new hardwood floors and tile, patch and paint walls, wiring for ethernet, and even a new attic ladder. We saved three appliances in the garage for re-use, and the crew re-installed and fully tested them. Ofer told us that it would be about five months overall due to various factors, and that's exactly how it played out.

From start to finish, Ofer and the whole Maya Construction team were fantastic! We were kept up-to-date all along. A lot of small decisions came up due to what was found along the way, and we were provided options and expert guidance that came together absolutely beautifully. Maya Construction Group was very courteous with our neighbors, and worked with our HOA approval process. Ofer was always gracious with our complicated work schedules and found ways to meet with us.

“We have a small older condo, originally with a claustrophobic and inefficient kitchen. We were planning on a whole-house remodel including the kitchen and two bathrooms and had been looking at several cabinet companies. At the Planet Cabinets showroom we talked with Ofer and chose the semi-custom Wynnbrooke line.

We had five areas of the house we were designing for: the kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, and a storage nook. We were able to find a wood, finish color, and door style we liked that was consistent across the entire house. They were also able to get the countertop material we wanted. Ofer provided measurement drawings and 3D renderings of each area that greatly helped us understand the options available and finalize decisions.

Some things had to be decided after demo when we could see what was really possible in the space. Ofer met with us and provided options and expert guidance. Our final layouts are far better than the original building design! The kitchen and island are now spacious, beautiful, and with more storage than we ever thought possible.
