I was very impressed by Art and his team at Casey Tuckpointing. From the start, Art walked me through a thorough assessment of my home, identifying repair needs I never would have caught myself, spanning my garage’s CMU block walls and limestone coping, the back porch corners, basement windows, east wall, front door, and concrete stairs with their flanking CMU walls.
The scope of work was substantial: grinding and tuckpointing cracked mortar joints, resetting loose limestones, removing old caulking and replacing it with properly primed Vulkem throughout, and even applying a waterproof sealer (BSM-400) to the top coping limestones on the garage. They did a great job on masonry work for our 13 unit building. Pulled permits, worked quick and efficient. They kept good communication about weather delays, and other problems/issues they found around the building. Fair quote, and it was good work. Holding up well at the one year mark.
