“We have a kitchen that was last remodeled fifteen years ago. We had a number of contractors come in to give us an estimate on countertops, backsplash, flooring, and painting -- walls, ceiling, and cabinets. In almost every case, the contractors refused the job, saying it was "too small." One of them actually demanded (yes, he demanded!) that he be allowed to knock down a wall between the kitchen and dining room! Just to make the job :big enough" for him to consider. Then we found Sal Corna. (Thank goodness!) Sal and his crew -- diligently led by Andres -- were thorough professionals. The were no surprises, no hidden extra costs, and the price was competitive and very, very fair. The job was done in about ten days (only five of which we were unable to use the kitchen). We're really glad we found Sal, and we hope to use Corna's services again soon.“

“I had 3 distinct slabs to reduce radon under - my basement, slab on grade family room, and garage. It was a tough job, and the results speak for themselves.

These guys are fast, extremely effective, and most of all really easy to work with. I decided to go with a different radon fan and they were accommodating with the cost adjustments.

“I was very impressed by Art and his team at Casey Tuckpointing. From the start, Art walked me through a thorough assessment of my home, identifying repair needs I never would have caught myself, spanning my garage’s CMU block walls and limestone coping, the back porch corners, basement windows, east wall, front door, and concrete stairs with their flanking CMU walls.

The scope of work was substantial: grinding and tuckpointing cracked mortar joints, resetting loose limestones, removing old caulking and replacing it with properly primed Vulkem throughout, and even applying a waterproof sealer (BSM-400) to the top coping limestones on the garage. It’s the kind of comprehensive, material-specific approach that makes clear Art knows exactly what he’s doing.

His team was also proactive. They identified Tuckpointing issues beyond what we’d originally scoped and went ahead and addressed them at no additional charge. That kind of integrity is rare.

One detail that really stood out: the front concrete stairs required an additional trip while the concrete cured. Rather than rushing ahead and caulking over wet concrete, Art came back multiple times to check that it had fully dried before finishing the work. Most contractors would have cut that corner to save a trip. Art didn’t. That told me everything I needed to know about how he runs his business.

The work was done right, the communication was excellent, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Casey Tuckpointing will be my first call for any future masonry work, and I’d trust Art’s eye for inspection on any property.“
