“I've been coming to see Dr Chen for about 10 years now. He is excellent! When I first came to see him, he asked key questions, and he resolved the ongoing issue with the glasses that were sold to me from different eye glass companies...I kept getting headaches. As it turned out, I can't use the fit all glasses that are massed produced. I need specific tailored glasses that help me see better without giving me headaches. And the eye wear selection is phenomenal...totally love to get new glasses every two years. I get so many compliments - on all the glasses I've purchased to date. I am looking forward to my next exam in a few months.I feel so well taken care of each time I stop by for my annual exam. This practice is truly the best of the best in town, and I don't mind the long drive. They are worth it - 100%“

“Shawn at Doyle is great! He takes pride and professionalism in his work. He really is an expert in his craft. And I call it a craft because of the work he does. I got glasses from Doyle last year in 2023. He took me through all the details of the best options for me, and where I could save some money. He's not going to over charge you for what you don't need, but he's also going to make sure you get quality. And guess what, he can cut lens ON-SITE. That doesn't happen at the chain locations. So again, it's about craftsmanship. Even if your not sure, call and talk to him. And you'll see why Doyle in specifically Winnetka is worth it. Did I mention the lens / frame I got from him took a hit from a 50 mph baseball...and they didn't break. Lens popped out. I popped them back in and they were good as new!“

Tammy told me to send them in, and she made sure to find frames within the budget that still looked amazing. “I mentioned my designer sunglasses in my review 2 months ago--I brought them in and asked Brian if he could tighten them up for me because I love them so much. He said sure! When he was doing that, I said "I don't even remember where I got those!" He said "From me!" He looked back in his records and has such meticulous notes that he then was actually able to order my newest prescription for that exact size so I can mail in my sunglasses from Milwaukee, where I'm now working and pick them up at my convenience. and have him install the lenses in my decade-old frames. I don't care if they're older--They're timeless and I look like Jackie-O in them. I think. Anyway, with that we took my gorgeous new tiger frames that were going to be sunglasses and are making new every-day frames for me since my golden retriever sat on my last ones. I love Brian's service at Doyle Opticians of Deerfield. The North Shore is full of very discriminating buyers and I came back all the way from my new home in Oregon to torture Brian with my pickiness. He was just happy to see me!When I get current license plates I'm coming back, Brian!“

I still remember that day in 2016 vividly, when my left eye failed, causing pressure reached far beyond 60+. Since the surgery with Dr. Jack Cohen, Dr. Jacobs has brought it down to acceptable numbers, and I have felt good, seen very well, with pressure around 10. Last month it was 9. ... The office is well equipped with modern, hi tech instruments. It is well kept and maintained, I feel safe during this uncertain time. I tried another one but was unhappy with the results, the glasses they made for me had to be redone twice and even then I had to swap back to my old glasses for everything except using my computer. I tried coming to professional eye Care based on reviews and I was very happy I did. Dr Costello provides great personal care and help me go through a few adjustments to my frames until things were right. Now I only need one pair of glasses for reading, computer work, driving, etc. They carried the exact brand and style of frames I wanted as well. “Look NO further for an amazing Optometrist on the North Shore of Chicago! Dr Shvartsman is by far the most compassionate, committed and brilliant Dr! My George got wood splinters in his eye over a weekend and by Sunday could not see and was in terrible pain. We had one of two choices: 1) go to the emergency room with the hope of connecting with an eye Dr that could help him OR 2) search the internet and locate a Dr that would see him immediately. Well, chances of actually locating a dr that would see him on a Sunday we're not realistic until I located and called Dr Shvartsman! She immediately said "I'll meet you in my office right away!" I had heard her name previously by patients that loved her and now I know why! She basically saved George's eyesight in one eye with her quick , compassionate and brilliant efforts! Thank GOD for restoring our faith in healthcare with Dr Shvartsman!“
