Shawn at Doyle is great! He takes pride and professionalism in his work. He really is an expert in his craft. And I call it a craft because of the work he does. I got glasses from Doyle last year in 2023. He took me through all the details of the best options for me, and where I could save some money. He's not going to over charge you for what you don't need, but he's also going to make sure you get quality. And guess what, he can cut lens ON-SITE. That doesn't happen at the chain locations. I just picked up my new glasses from Doyle Opticians in Winnetka. They were ready in only 9 days - a lot faster than the 3 weeks that other eyeglass shops had quoted. I visited shops in Evanston, Wilmette and Skokie before finding the perfect pair of frames for me at Doyle in Winnetka. Their frame selection is large and varied. I met with Shawn, the owner, and liked him right away for his candor, authenticity, and expertise. I'll definitely be going to Doyle again.
