1471 Indian Hills Rd, Council Bluffs“I would very strongly advise using Phil’s Comfort Zone. My AC unit started having issues on a Saturday and I attempted to try some remedies. Unfortunately, they did not work and it was approximately 10 PM and I started calling around to emergency services because my daughter was starting to get very warm in our home. I was either given recorded lines or unavailability until Monday. I came across Phil’s Comfort Zone. Phil took my late night call and agreed to come out to my home. Phil was very professional, personable, and went above and beyond. He cleaned my AC unit, replaced some previous wiring issues that were not necessary done correctly, and replaced a part very quickly. I noticed instantly the home was starting to cool and back to working properly. I’ll only use Phil’s Comfort Zone, and highly recommend anyone else needing service to use him as well.“

1409 3rd Ave, Council Bluffs“During this most recent hot spell, Coziahrs provided customer care and service that went above and beyond. They actually invited my elderly mother to stay with them until they were able to get a new AC installed for her. Even after mom declined their offer, they provided a temporary cooling unit to keep her comfortable. The new AC is now in and working well. Dave and Louanne are just the best.“
“Our furnace stopped working yesterday. The new unit was put in just under 2 years ago. We went through Norm's. We called this morning around 9am. The service man was here by noon today. He identified the issue (a bad transformer). And he had it replaced and finished by 1pm. They even honored the warranty on the unit that is in Mom's (who passed shortly after the unit was put in) name. We only had to pay the service charge. My family has used Norm's ever since my Grandpa was alive. If anyone has any heating and cooling needs, Norm's is highly recommended!“

“Highly recommend Vandemark Heating and Cooling! Our AC wasn’t working properly so I contacted Randy, on a Sunday night, and he said he would be at our house Monday to check it out. Met with him and another team member Monday as they diagnosed the issues. We agreed that a new unit would be best and he said Wednesday they could install it. Wednesday it is and I’m typing this from the comfort of our cooled home!! Great customer service and quick turn around time!!“

8AM - 8PM
2440 Ave L, Council Bluffs“Have had Al and his crew out over the years to replace things and they are always prompt and courteous. During an extreme cold snap Al even asked if we wanted to borrow heaters until they could get our part in the next morning. Our neighbors had recommended them after many positive experiences with them and now my Mom uses them also.“
6AM - 10PM
2803 E Kanesville Blvd, Council Bluffs“The service work itself, was excellent and professional. Technician arrived early and quickly completed the repairs. Regarding the scheduling service, while online service was convenient, there were some issues confirming schedules with the automated service.“

“Justin & Gavin came up and diagnosed our 13 year old air conditioner & furnace. We’d been losing Freon from either the A coil in the furnace or the A/C condenser outside. They could find no evidence visually in the two units or the line set. Justin was pretty sure it was in the A coil since it was copper. They tend to leak more vs the new style aluminum coils. Replacing the A coil along with Freon and labor, we were looking at anywhere from 4 to 5K. The A coils for older units are hard to get because of supply chain issues and the fact that companies are producing “newer model replacement parts vs old”. Everything we read was that most systems last 15 years on average. For us it sounded like it was on borrowed time. At our age it’s the last one we’ll ever install. Kelly & Luke were here at 8AM on the day of the install. They were very focused and had everything up & running by 5PM. All of the old units and trash were taken away. We are very happy and look forward to years of trouble free service. Travis, the owner is super to deal with and even stopped by to check things out and thank us for our business. That’s customer service! P.S. they also installed a humidifier!“
