Hannah is the best waxer you will find in all of Iowa, if not the whole country. I have traveled more than I want to admit to go to her monthly for almost a decade and even now, I drive 2 1/2 hours to go to her for all of my waxing needs every 4 weeks. She is personable and professional, and I feel I have gained an important, honest, and loyal friend through Hannah. Out of all of my reviews, this is the person and place I value the highest. I want to show her my appreciation and dedication, but don't book her schedule too full because I need to be able to still have my appointments.

We have been part of National Dance Academy since our oldest daughter was three. She’s now been dancing there for six years, and two of our other daughters dance there as well. It has been such a wonderful experience for our family.
The owner has created an incredible studio environment that truly feels like a community. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re part of a dance family. The girls absolutely learn strong technique, but at the younger ages there is also a big emphasis on having fun and building confidence.
One thing we especially appreciate is how age-appropriate everything is. The costumes are modest, the choreography is tasteful, and the music is always appropriate for young dancers. These are little girls on stage, and I love that the studio respects that. That was actually one of the biggest reasons we chose NDA in the first place.
Another thing that sets NDA apart is how involved the owner is in the day-to-day studio experience. She teaches many of the classes herself and is incredibly personable and approachable with both dancers and parents.
Our two oldest daughters also joined the competition team when they were 6 and 8. While winning is always exciting, the focus of the competition program is so much deeper than trophies. The girls grow tremendously as dancers, but they also grow in confidence, discipline, teamwork, and friendships with their fellow dancers.
We are so grateful to be part of this studio and highly recommend it to families looking for a positive, supportive dance environment for their children.

We found ourselves in need of a reroute with one of our gutters and this crew made it happen! Not only did they reroute our gutter but also went above and beyond to check and clean out a section of gutter that they knew was going to be working extra hard with the rerouted gutter. If you’re looking for timely, professional, kind-hearted, hardworking, knowledgeable, friendly, honest and quality work these are your people! Best barbershop in the cedar valley, good vibe, talented barbers, super relaxing. Ezekiel worked with my schedule when I needed to move my time up 15 minutes and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. Would recommend this place to anybody that wants a quality, professional haircut.

I went in today to get on a monthly package under the $2 to join promotion. Tallyn helped me, she was very nice and helpful. She gave me a tour of all available machines as with the promotion I got 1 week all access so I tried the red light therapy with hydro massage. The massager glitched and I could only get maybe 5 mins of the total 15minutes it was ok but not as the effective as I imagined it. For tanning I choose the stand-up machine. It is clean and effective with new bulbs. I am happy with the tanning and customer service experience I had. I recommend this location. Thank you! 😊

All time favorite nail place for the last 5ish years. Today, Vicki did my nails and she was amazing. She was meticulous with my manicure and pedicure. She made sure the shape and length of each finger matched. There are many other great technicians here too!! I’ve had Kristen, Jimmy, and Brandon also do amazing work in the last few years.
This is my go-to place for nails. They are always nice and treat me well. Free soda or glass of wine too.
I walked in at 4:05 w/o an appointment. They got me into a chair, relaxing for my pedicure, within 5 minutes. Pedicure was great, nails turned out fabulous.
I was also lucky enough to get a manicure, added some acrylics, as I desperately needed my nails done. They turned out fabulous as well!
My first time at this place! Arayely is super sweet and made me feel welcomed. I’ve always had issues with one of my brows being lower than my other one, she was able to fix it to the point where it is now barely noticeable. I will be back in the future! I went to Wild Hair for years before I moved and stop by every time I travel back to visit family. I always leave the shop feeling genuinely seen and cared for. Rob is one of a kind. Apart from the excellent service and loud rock music, the hair cuts are always on point and “super hot and sexy.” It’ll be a sad day when Wild Hair closes. I have very fond memories of Rob and Wild Hair.

We had such a wonderful experience with Emily! My son is very indecisive when it comes to his haircuts, but Emily showed incredible patience and kindness. She took the time to ask him lots of questions, made sure he felt comfortable, and never rushed the process. Her calm and friendly approach really put him at ease. On top of that, his haircut turned out fantastic! I can’t recommend Emily enough for anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and goes above and beyond!

We needed a gas CSST line bonded to bring our 1996 house up to current code and the location of our gas fireplace, in my opinion, caused this to be a challenging situation. Our electrician was very nice, highly skilled and was a great problem solver and found a way to mitigate this issue in the most non-invasive way possible and took the additional step of contacting the utilities company’s inspector to verify his plan would resolve the issue. I was extremely pleased with his work and the utilities inspector was also impressed when he returned to confirm our home was now up to code. Given the complexity of the task, I felt the cost of their services was very reasonable and I am absolutely going to use Stickfort for any additional needs we have for electrical services.

I have used Chem-Dry of Ne Iowa twice now for my office in Cedar Rapids; both times were fantastic. First, he saved my luxury vinyl plank flooring that I thought I had ruined, saving me thousands. Then he cleaned my office carpets, and they looked so much cleaner than when I had them cleaned with two other carpet cleaners. I highly recommend them and will use again!
We had some quality issues with the VLT installed in our rental property. Simpsons stepped up for each occurrence and made things right every time. Customer Service still matters to the quality small businesses in our community; Simpsons is one of the best.

BEST FLOORING COMPANY AROUND. I’m new in town and needed new floors for new house, and BK flooring was the only company who was willing to take on the hard job of leveling my concrete foundation home before installing vinyl flooring. Previously, the whole house was carpet — everywhere. The entire process finished a lot quicker than I expected. Great communication, great service, great installation, great result. I should have written this review last month but really I didn't expect Quegg would finish siding our house so fast! Bruce and Will were wonderful, professional, happy to answer all of my questions with interest and patience! From start to a speedy finish, we couldn't be happier with the results, the siding looks fresh and sleek and is well fitted and finished around each spigot and outlet, and soffits. Will went out of his way to add new lighting fixtures for us too! We were referred by friends to work with Quegg Siding and I understand why now, they treat you like family!

Finally, a Dentist we LOVE!! Highly, highly recommend Dr Amanda Brenden if you have kids!! So family friendly, kind and fun. A little TV nook in the waiting area, sunglasses to help with the bright light while on the chair, the kids got to make decisions about fluoride flavors and toothbrushes, and they each got gold coins to use in the toy machines when they were done! Best dental experience my kids have ever had ?

Just moved in the area and had my first appointment with Dr. Derrick. I was very impressed with how well this first adjustment went. He was able to relieve the pain I was having in my back and showed me some stretches to use before my next visit. I highly recommend Dr. Derrick!
Dr. Dugger is one of the best in the business. I have been going to him ever since we met a few years ago and have always had a great experience with him and the services that he offers. The dry needling is something I never thought I would try, but I have really enjoyed utilizing it every since first trying it last year. I just want to send a shout out to Wayson Family Chiropractic clinic cedar falls I have been going to him about 3 , a friend suggested them so I thought it was worth a try. I’ve been suffering with back pain for years. Well to make a long story short he (Blake) made the pain go away he found out that my hip had been out of place for years it was not my back (I took a bad fall years ago and landed on the edge of some metal steps) he figured it out by exrays and another mechanism he uses. I have since sent 4 of my friends to him and they have all had good results. I just want to say thanks to him for giving me a better life style, they might not be able too help everyone but he’s definitely worth a try

Dr Goetsch has went above and beyond for my senior kitty, Boo. I brought Boo in for the first time here when she was very sick & honestly thought I would lose her. The Doctor was honest, but gave me options and didn't pressure me into anything. In the end, they hospitalized my kitty and have been so involved in her recovery. They communicate and keep in touch so well, are good at working us into the schedule, very up front with costs & are reasonably priced. I have never taken my kitty to a place where I feel so at peace with the care she is getting. From the receptionists, to the techs, to the Doctors, it has all been so positive. Thank you for helping my kitty heal!

I would like to start, whenever I tell my dog Macho that we are going to the vet, his tail wags and he gets excited, I have never had a pet do that. Ever since I have taken Macho to Cedar Heights Pet Clinic my pet receives the greatest treatment. Macho goes there frequently for bathing because he loves working with the vet techs and the groomer. They are very knowledgeable, and their advice has always helped with anything my dog Macho or my cat Tommy needed. It's nice to see a vet clinic who know your pets by name and care about them, like your pets are their pets.

Never been there before and I heard great things about them. We had to put our beloved dog down on Monday. They put us in a room and they explained everything to us. We got to stay in the room till we were ready for Dr. Nemmers to come in and have her the medication to put her to sleep. I wasn’t there for her first breath but I got to hold her for her last breath. We got to stay as long as we wanted after. Got the call on Wednesday to come pick up her remains and the lady at the front desk was amazing. If and when we get another dog we will definitely go back. Thank you for the best experience and one of our hardest times.

I found New Dawn a few years ago and fell in love with the classes, the space, the instructors, everything! The classes have helped support me where I'm at and have helped me prep my body for surgeries and even heal postpartum. While I love the intensity of hot vinyasa classes, I really also enjoy the Warm Slow Stretch and Gentle Non-Hot yoga classes! I love that even on days I'm not feeling as strong, I can modify my movements to fit what I need for the day. I've always struggled with feeling judged while working out, but I have NEVER felt that at New Dawn. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and the focus is on creating a safe, supportive space to practice yoga. Thank you, New Dawn!

This was absolutely the best!!! I felt super comfortable, with both the environment and the massage therapist Erica Butterfield!! I did a deep tissue massage and the pressure was perfect. She was also really good about adjusting the pressure just on her own when she met nots or tender spots. This is now my go-to spot in the Cedar of valley!
