Should have reviewed Joanna a long time ago. I have been going to her for a couple years now(but, have only needed a haircut a handful of times). I recommend Joanna to anyone who has hair, especially those like me with curly hair. Having super thick, very course curly hair, I needed someone who knows what she's doing, which is how I found Joanna. She doesn't do what other stylist do usually, and that is to start brushing my hair out(which feels and looks terrible). Instead, she looks at my hair and makes a gameplan that fits exactly what my hair needed. As soon as I made the first appointment, I told my mom and sister about her, and they feel the same way. She goes above and beyond for every client; she is kind and personal and absolutely fantastic. She talks to you as if you're picking up the last conversation(which is incredible, being that I hadnt had a haircut from her since last Fall). I came in today with my mess of a hair(thick, curly hair and hadn't brushed it out, so I knew how much work was needed) and she made sure everything she was doing was what I wanted. I wanted it straight after the cut because I am about to travel, and she accommodated me 100%. Made my hair the softest it has ever been. Also, I recommend everyone have the deep conditioning treatment. Will continue to recommend Joanna to everyone, and will continue to go to her as long as I can!

Great group of folks. Been driving 45+ minutes for my haircut for over 5 years now. Great for appointments or walk-in. Always friendly and best haircuts. I've got a dual cowlick which causes issues for some but not here, always a great cut and look after my visit. Made the mistake and tried others closer. Always end up unhappy and going back to William & Team.

A Classy Nail Salon has been my go to in Athens for over 4 years. They’ve renovated the shop recently and I love the new look. Cindy and Jeannie are wonderful and ensure I’m always satisfied with my nails.

The most wonderful nail experience I’ve EVER had. i haven’t had my nails professionally done in at least 2 years, so I was overwhelmed by the options all around Athens. This salon was recommended on Reddit and had nice reviews so I booked an appointment, and I was scheduled for the following day!
When I arrived I was a little intimidated and ready to spend well over $100. Tristan took wonderful care of me, I wanted a specific look for my elopement party and he tested multiple different finishes for me to choose from.
We had wonderful light conversation, but I get a little socially anxious and he was more than accommodating of me using my airpods to listen to a podcast.
I got a manicure, with a full set, a color, and a shimmer finish. All in all, it took about an hour and the end price was only $70! (before cash tip)

I’ve been working with Kristy for several months now to clear up my face (I’m in my 30s), and her facials and product recommendations have completely transformed my skin. Clean, friendly and fast. Great pricing. The only negative is their staff doesn't have access to the emails if you need to contact them. At the Athens email address at the bottom of their confirmation email. I had to push back my apt and sent it in before opening that I would still arrive same day but needed a later time. When I arrived they had me as a no show so I needed to wait for next available but that wasn't in issue. But I know that has to be frustrating for staff to not have key information specific to their individual location.

Saturday was my second visit to 3R. I called Saturday afternoon/evening to see if any of the piercers had availability. The UGA/Ole Miss had the town in an uproar. The receptionist let me know that even though they had an event running I was welcome to come in to get pierced.
Baker did my nipple piercings. It was my third time getting them done. He took his time to ensure the piercings were exactly where I wanted. Even though I've had a lot of experience with various piercings, Baker also showed great care to remind me about aftercare practices and guide me through the whole process. His professionalism is spot on, but his encouraging vibes also had me walking out with my head a little higher!
Plus, 3R gave me a little aftercare packet with candy, a saline pack, and stickers!
Just finished up with Dustin, and I couldn't be happier. Wasn't sure whether I could describe accurately enough what I wanted and he nailed it. Absolutely would recommend to anyone and will be back!

Ok. People use to get tattos of me on them. The problem was that we would do the image per a concept. Like we always show the breast this cone way per a concept. The issue was after I had a cosmetic modification, someone would hostage me and say to revise my body to look like the tattoo image, which is improper also known as corporate hostaging and terrorism and it's also known as a janitorial issue the person hsotaging whom doesn't understand the mechanicals whom says they understand mechanicals.

He also took the time to look over some future projects related to plumbing that we have been considering and gave me multiple options of how the work could be done. He also gave some great suggestions of other things we could consider for the future.
At no point did I feel pressured nor did I feel like he was trying to upsell me. we noticed our sump pump was on and saw that our sewer was backing up into the basement drain. we rang up Tommy & Sons Plumbing due to the great job they did previously when they installed our water heater. they under-promised but over-delivered. a young guy, let's call him devin, got here in no time and got straight to work. he did his best until his mates, ryan and brent, showed up to assist. devin kept us updated on how things were going. they had everything sorted by the afternoon. before leaving, they gave us some supplies to help deal with the pesky roots that were causing the back-up.
Request for service was promptly answered and service was professionally provided by Rick who was knowledgeable and personable.

I locked my keys in the car while grocery shopping with my son. Someone was there to help me right away and even helped me load my groceries into the car! I’m not hoping to lock them in again, but if I do I know who I will call!
CertaClean did an excellent job cleaning a rug that is in my daughter’s playroom. The rug looks almost brand new. I will definitely use company again in the future.

I couldn't be happier. I heard some sounds of critters scurrying through my attic soffits a few times, or so I assumed. I called three companies. The first guy went up on my roof and found a loose screen at the bottom of the gutter at an inside corner. He said squirrels were getting in there. He said he could put a one way trap there for two weeks, then fix the screen. After tapping on his phone for a while, he said it would cost $679. He immediately said he could go lower. I've never had an estimator say that. Just give me the lower price. The second guy sounded goofy on the phone and didn't show up when promised. And, then there was Zach. He was on time after sending a text letting me know he was on his way. As soon as we started talking, I felt comfortable with him. He was personable and obviously smart. He asked me if I might have heard the sound in the gutters rather than the soffits in the attic. Maybe so, I said. After clear explanations of how animals can get into the attic by chewing around a gap that exists between the attic and gutters, he went into the attic. He looked for any signs of animals and inspected my gutters. He found some signs of mice and maybe rat snakes, but nothing else. He said the gutter gaps were wrapped in metal so chewing was unlikely. His recommendation was for him to do nothing. I could ask my pest control company to deal with the mice as most have that on their contracts. Mine does. My wife and I don't care about any rat snakes that might be up there. They are our friends. Zach and I had a very pleasant conversation about life and he left. I learned that Zach has been in Athens for a good while and is married to an Athens native. It's good to work with someone with an established family who has a long term stake in the community. I could not have a stronger recommendation.

We hired them for our new yard and of course there were new kinds of weeds at our new house, but when the weeds didn't disappear after a year, a specialist came out and talked to me about these unique problems and a plan going forward. I was referred to the practice by an existing patient after having a long-standing but invariably stressful patient relationship in another local, multi-location practice. Everyone was so polite and friendly, from Lauren at reception to Dr. Allen - I could barely believe it. I had become accustomed to waiting in the lobby for as long as an hour beyond a scheduled appointment, and for practice staff to speak ill of patients, in front of other patients, as if they were invisible. I had such an overwhelmingly positive experience at Alex Johnson Dental! I regret not leaving my previous practice sooner.

i don’t even know where to begin, as someone with dental anxiety, this was the best experience i have ever had at a dentist. I felt so cared for, and bless the sweet lady that let me squeeze her hand because i know i was squeezing hard and she was just so sweet the whole time. I left with no pain & i still have no pain even though im pretty sure all the numbing medicine is gone by now. He explained everything he was doing & just made me feel so comfortable, constantly reassuring me i was doing good. If you need a good dentist, STOP HERE YOU FOUND HIM.

They use a small, handheld wand to scan teeth with incredible precision, and a new device (called something “Lite”) that gently holds your mouth open during procedures. It’s painless, comfortable, and light-years ahead of the usual approach. This is dentistry without the dread.
Dr. Alex (yes, she goes by her first name, and yes, she’s earned that level of cool) is sharp, compassionate, and deeply skilled. Dr. Carl and his team are nothing short of remarkable. After I suffered a severe break at my C5 vertebra, it was Dr. Carl who guided me through the process of expediting my MRI and connected me with the surgeon for my complex neck surgery. I would gladly give them 5 stars, but truly, they deserve a rating ten times that. Their dedication and expertise exceeded all my expectations!
Hoss(fur baby) was having hip issues. Dr. Meg was great with him. She explained everything she was doing to help his hips. He has been back for his second visit. It was just as good as the first. Hoss is doing so much better. I will not hesitate to reach out to her again if Hoss or myself need her.

When I first went to Simpson Chiropractic, I was in pretty rough shape. They took X-rays and found my neck was completely straight, my nerves were pinched, and I had a compressed disc at the base of my spine. I was in so much pain I could barely sleep. I was honestly considering nerve block injections or even going to the ER because it was that bad. I tried everything, like sleeping with an ice pack under my neck or using a back roller just to get some relief. But after literally one adjustment at Simpson Chiropractic, I could sleep that very night. After the second adjustment, the pain was almost completely gone. And by the third adjustment, I haven’t had any pain since. It’s been absolutely life-changing. Dr. Simpson truly is great at what he does, and I can’t recommend them enough!
I've been going to chiropractors for about 30 yrs. I've been to many diff ones, had many diff types of adjustments and when I was younger (I'm 59 now) like the rougher the adj the better. Now bc I have both an ongoing condition, permanent injury at C7-T1 and have had low back surgery bc of a congenital defect, I need very gentle AND effective adjustments. Doc Meredith is absolutely wonderful as well as extremely effective. I think she is truly gifted and that this is her calling. She has adjusted me in places I've never been adjusted in as well as used some techniques I've never seen. She's remarkable and I can see and feel her genuine care and concern as well as that of her co-workers. Wonderful place!!

I was referred to Dr. Stampley by my routine veterinarian for a CCL repair. Her office was punctual and precise in communication from the start. The office was very transparent about all the finances involved in a TPLO surgery, and all 4 visits (pre-op, day of, suture removal, post-op) were exactly in line with the cost estimates. Dr. Stampley took a conservative approach to recovery, and I shared with her that I took that as a sign of respect for her craft and my money.
Dr. Stampley and her staff are outcome oriented for the animal patients while staying focused on delivering excellent service to their human clients. The communication was consistent, clear, and transparent. Dr. Stampley has performed hundreds of this procedure, so I felt comfortable placing care in her competent hands. It was a very professional and courteous experience overall, and while I would not like to repeat it for another pet or my wallet, I will certainly turn to Dr. Stampley and staff should that need arise again.

Quality service & knowledgability. Prices aren't always very affordable, but it's worth finding an alternative for what you can get elsewhere. They offer a lot of special medications, panels, & personalized service that I've yet to find elsewhere.
