“Jax is my 3 year old toy poodle and he’s a great dog. However, walking him was a huge challenge for me and embarrassing. When he saw people and other dogs outside he would start to pant and I could feel the anxiety building up just holding on to the leash. He would pull, get up on his hind legs squirming around barking, trying to get off the leash, which led into a high screeching sound. It was embarrassing because it appeared as if he was being hurt by me. But it was him trying to get their attention so they can come to him and pet him. I finally decided to seek training for him and thank God I did. Brian is an amazing trainer and was able to correct Jax’s behavior while walking. It was like I had a new dog. I totally didn’t recognize him. Like “what did you do with my dog?” LOL However I knew the real challenge would be when I had to do it alone and continue to do it everyday. We’re still working on this everyday and he’s been a well behaved dog. Maybe a glitch or 2 but I corrected him immediately with the techniques I was taught. He will give you homework and if you remain consistent, you will see the improvement with your dog. He also makes it easily accessible for you to reach out to him if you’re having an issue you feel you can’t correct. “Best vet experience! I started going to Pebble Creek when I got my first Siberian cat in April 2024. My previous vet did not treat Siberians which is how I became a client at Pebble Creek Animal Hospital. There is never a long wait in the waiting room, and I love the personal touch with the little welcome sign for pet outside of the exam room. I knew if I ever decided to expand my pet family, they were 100% going to Pebble Creek. Well, 10/22 of this year I got my second Siberian. I love the fact they have a free “get to know you” visit with the vet techs and staff (not a doctor visit). I took my new kitten in today and the staff, as always, was amazing. I mostly dealt with Taylor, who is a vet tech. The time she spent with us talking about the kitties, answered many questions, and polite conversation was amazing. I didn’t feel like just another client. She is definitely an asset to this practice! The staff and doctors are kind and take as much time as needed to answer all questions. Also, prices are not inflated like some other practices I’ve been to. Highly recommend!“

“I have been coming here ever since I was a child, and my mom had ever since she was a teenager. We have brought ferrets, dogs, and birds and always received such great, caring service.

Last year, I adopted my first dog on my own, and of course there was no other vet I’d take her to. Not even two months ago, I brought her in to get her annual vaccines when Dr. Brooks noticed some lumps in her mammary glands. It is something that I probably never would have noticed on my own. He walked us through what it could be, as well as what we would have to do to test them. With the probability of it being cancer, and with my financial situation, I was heartbroken and preparing for the worst, but the entire team handled this situation with so much grace and they were extremely understanding and able to work with us.

All of her diagnostic tests and surgery were done in just a few weeks without any complications. We got her stitches removed yesterday and I am so so thankful for Dr. Brooks and the entire team here. Sticky has been doing so well, and the cancer was caught before it had the chance to progress. I can’t even explain the relief I feel for getting to have more time with my baby. We owe it all to everyone here for catching it and removing it with such swiftness and care. I could not recommend them enough.“
