“Took a little bit of time, but they were able to get me taken care of. The carpet I originally wanted wasn't in stock and they offered up an alternative that ended up being perfect. The installation and crew were great and knocked out our project fast. My only complaint would be the response time is not the best. After my initial deposit I didn't hear from them for a while after. Called a few times and emailed and never heard back. That would be the only issue I had, and it's not necessarily a big issue, just a little annoying. Other than that we will be back for more work. John was great and we look forward to working with them again for our future projects.”

“Can't say enough about how great Ed, Sherri and the team are. Had some damage on my roof that needed repaired. Reached out for a quote and Ed (the owner) was at my house the very next morning. I had a good conversation with him where he explained all the options for repair and clearly explained all the possible complications that could arise. We decided to go ahead and just replace the entire roof due to age. They sent over a catalogue of color options for the shingles and various trim and we just picked out what we wanted. A week later I had a crew at my house who spent all day repairing and reinforcing my roof (the crew was very nice as well). When they were done, they went around the house with large magnets and honestly left the yard in better shape than it was before they got here.<br><br>Most importantly they took LOADS of pictures of the work and documented every inch of lumber and extra materials used. So when the final invoice came there were no surprises and every penny was accounted for and justified. I hope that I never need to use them again ;-), but if something happens and my roof needs work again, I won't hesitate to call and have them come back out!!”

They installed the aluminum structure , door, panel roof and overhang , gutters, and kick panels as well as screening, (before and after pics shown) and honestly we are so impressed with the job. “Cogdill Builders of Florida built our custom home in South Tampa, and we could not be happier with the final result.<br><br>My wife and I decided to tear down our older home and build a new single-story pool home that would meet our needs now and in the future. We contacted several builders, but many either wanted to buy the lot themselves and build a spec home, required extremely high budgets, or would only build one of their standard plans with no changes.<br><br>We wanted a true custom home, so we searched online and found Cogdill Builders of Florida. After speaking with the owner, Mike Cogdill, and reading his excellent reviews, we scheduled a meeting.<br><br>Mike came to our property, measured the lot, researched the site, and listened carefully to what we wanted. Our goal was a single-story concrete-block home with the appearance of a two-story house, approximately 4,000 square feet, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an oversized two-car garage, large front porch, open floor plan, high ceilings, a pool, and a large lanai with an outdoor kitchen.<br><br>Cogdill Builders designed the home specifically for our lot and worked to maximize the available space. We reviewed the plans with Mike, made changes, and adjusted certain details to make the design work structurally.<br><br>Throughout construction, Mike was open to our questions and changes. As the plans became a real house, we realized that some of our original ideas needed to be modified. Mike helped us add a window, move walls, revise electrical items, modify the custom cabinetry, improve the foyer, add moulding and trim details, and create a custom media wall.<br><br>We lived only a block away, so we were able to watch the home being built. The quality and attention to detail were obvious. Neighbors and people walking by regularly commented on how solid and precise the construction was.<br><br>The concrete-block work was especially impressive. The masons carefully placed and leveled every block. That same attention continued through the plumbing, trusses, windows, roofing, electrical work, carpentry, doors, flooring, tile, and marble.<br><br>Gary, the carpenter, did exceptional work. He built a custom all-wood coffered ceiling in the living room, installed beautiful moulding and trim, and completed the solid eight-foot doors. Everyone who visits our home comments on the quality and craftsmanship.<br><br>A true custom home takes time, and there were moments when we became frustrated with the pace. However, we learned that custom construction is very different from buying a production home. We selected nearly everything, made changes during construction, and received a home built specifically for us.<br><br>The finished home is stunning, solid, and exactly what we hoped for.
