Where do I start to describe our experience with this business? “Expectations exceeded.” I will briefly describe our journey with this family. Consultation with Hennie Sr. - knowledgeable and experienced, extremely personable. We had specific wants, Hennie helped conceptualize what would be involved and how to improve on our vision. He returned in a timely manner with a detailed blueprint for our master bathroom, along with an itemized material and labor list. Through the entire process, the original blueprint and pricing has held to be accurate. Dates were set; our renovation began and ended on schedule. Demolition was CLEAN - our house was not affected by the demo. Mats were laid and stored daily for the path of the workers. The workspace was swept and tidied daily so that we could see what had been completed that day. Any questions or concerns were discussed at length. This team keeps all parties well informed in prompt fashion. Workers were present on-time everyday they were scheduled, putting in full work days. The skill and effort that was put in to our bathroom really shines through with the finished product. You can see the finished product in the pictures. My wife and I LOVE our new bathroom. By the time our bathroom was completed, my wife and I actually missed having these guys in the house. That says a lot. Each and everyone that passed through our front door had a good personality and we felt comfortable with them being in the house. Special thanks to Charlie, Almir, and Hennie Jr. Charlie absolutely blew my mind with the detailed precision and quality of the tile installation. Kudos to him for still having me rave about that feat (our original walls were quite uneven with the new dry wall). What more can I say? This team has it all. Experience, reputation, quality, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have already recommended Schoeman Construction to my family, friends, co-workers, and patients. This family run business does exceptional work. They go above and beyond to make the renovation process as easy as it can be. I first used them about 8 years ago for a master bath remodel. They did a wonderful job, so when it came time to do the other two bathrooms, I didn’t look any further. I knew I wanted to work with their fabulous team. Then, last fall, I decided to do the kitchen, so it was another call to the Schoeman’s! The renovation came in on time, as promised, (for the Christmas dinner feeding 22), and on budget! The entire process went very smoothly. They kept me up to date about the progress, were easy to communicate with and extremely responsive to all my needs. But more importantly, it was done by true craftsmen. They do not cut corners. It is as if they are working on their own home and they all felt like family by the end of the project. I had no fears about having them in my home...they are extremely polite and respectful. A joy to work with. And I LOVE my new kitchen! Only one caveat: you get what you pay for. But who wants to cut corners on something you are going to live with for years? With Schoeman construction you get top quality custom work!

I cannot say enough good things about Schoeman. I found them on Houzz one Sunday while looking at bathroom pictures. I emailed a couple questions and Hennie responded that day (unexpected but appreciated!). My bar is high... I have built two custom houses and remodeled others. They did everything they said that they would do, and more. I was NOT put off by the $150 fee after reading their reviews and they deducted it from the first job they did. If anyone wants to talk to me/us about them, reach out. Their standards are high and they are honest, fair and wonderful to work with. And - if anyone has done any work with contractors, you know the subs they work with is critical. Their subs are also wonderful, trustworthy and take pride in a job well done.
