“I had a great experience with Southgate Vet. This is my first winter living seasonally in FL with my dog and when she needed a sick visit, I called a couple of different offices. Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. My dog was seen by Dr. Casey, who has wonderful energy and clearly stated options and the treatment plan. Happy to be connected to a great office!“

“Truly a wonderful animal hospital: transparent, caring, and polite! They helped with my daughter’s young cat who had just given birth to kittens a few days ago. I rushed in holding the mother cat as she was giving birth, with the first kitten literally landing in my hand. The staff quickly took her, placed her in a safe cage with bedding, and reassured me: “She’s doing great, just take her back home, and if there are any complications, come back.” They didn’t charge me for the visit and even let us keep the cage with bedding. Such kindness and compassion mean so much, thank you!“

“I can't say enough nice things about this practice. Dr. Brown and Dr. Browning are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, caring and compassionate. The techs and receptionists are equally attentive and kind. I have a senior dog that has suffered with a number of ailments. He has had eye issues, a back issue, dental issues, a heart murmer, digestive upset and a poisoning episode. The office offers emergency work-in appointments that are invaluable. I never feel rushed. The fees are comparable. I especially appreciate the holistic slant. My dog isn't the most cooperative, but the entire staff makes effort to make him feel comfortable.
