Before making an appointment, I emailed the hospital to explain what I was looking for and share a little about my grumpy senior cat, including my concerns about how stressed she can become during veterinary visits. I was hoping for some guidance about what to expect and how the team might accommodate her needs. The doctor was the person who responded and with such a detailed, thoughtful, and reassuring email. I wasn't even a client yet, and she had already taken the time to address my concerns in a way that made me feel supported. I know how much time and effort that kind of communication takes, and I truly appreciated it.
The in-person experience was just as wonderful. The doctor and her team were patient, compassionate, and genuinely attentive to both my cat’s comfort and my own stress as her owner. They took their time, considered her individual needs, and made the visit go far better than I ever expected.
I cannot express how thankful I am that we found this practice. I have tremendous respect for a privately owned, one-doctor practice that manages to provide this level of care while still making clients feel like their pets truly matter. The pricing is also refreshingly affordable, which is another wonderful bonus.

“I recently relocated to Florida from North Carolina. With so many reviews floating around social media, it was hard to choose a vet for my dog. After having a bad experience in Punta Gorda, Toledo blade did not disappoint. When I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist was polite & warm. You do have to provide a deposit for appointments, but it goes directly towards your bill. The Veterinarian who cared for my dog during his visit was excellent. He provided me with more information & knowledge than any other vet I’ve seen in the past. He truly listened to my concerns, provided a solution, all while educating me. After my french bulldog started his meds, he’s been bouncing around like he did when he was a puppy. ❤ The vet tech was also kind and informative. The prices here are extremely fair. They even called to follow up with my pup to see how he was feeling after our appointment. (This never happens). Prescription process was easy. They sent me a link to their online pharmacy. After purchasing my dogs medication, the pharmacy contacts the vet for approval & sends your meds to your address. Not once did I feel coached to purchase unnecessary testing or have unnecessary procedures done. This place did everything but drain my money. Please don’t listen to any negative reviews.
