From Nelly, the Owner, to the soft-spoken receptionist, to the Titi who washed my hair like I was in an upscale spa! ♥️I have to admit, I was extremely reluctant to make this appointmentBut, after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try.It was such a pleasure to walk in for an 8am appt and walk out before 10am. I mean, a pleasure! Now, Nelly did warn me she can't always guarantee the quick turnaround, but that her team does their best despite the busy clientele. I appreciated how Nelly listened to my hair needs and then provided natural, non abrasive hair care recommendations. She patiently explained the various hair coloring brands and answered honestly about what the product claims to do and what the product actually does. “I first met Lou when he was working at JC Penney’s and gave my then 7 year old gymnast daughter the popular “Dorothy Hamil” haircut prior to an important meet (where she went on the win the DE state championships!). That daughter is now 45 and much has changed in all our lives. But what remains the same is my hairdresser! I still go to Lou and, in fact, was there today. He gave me one of the best colors and styles ever, in the 38 years I have known him. He has the amazing ability to figure out what I want even when I don’t quite know what it is. And one other thing I’d like to mention, which is even more important than the great stylist he is. Lou happens to be a really, really good person. My ends were damaged and she was very good with cutting my hair exactly how I requested and showed me how it looked before moving on. Blow dry and style was on point. Great conversation too. For wash and curl took 1.5hrs.“
