“We had an outstanding experience with Rabin General Construction in Thousand Oaks.<br>Richard (the owner) is one of the most responsive and communicative contractors I’ve ever worked with. He answers calls and texts quickly, provides clear updates, and genuinely cares about doing the job right.<br>We originally hired RGC to replace four brand-new nail-in windows and one slider due to interior water leaks in our townhouse. They completed the work flawlessly and efficiently. Because of how impressed we were, we later hired them to paint our home and replace our water heater — both projects were handled just as professionally.<br>A few months later, our upstairs windows (brand new Milgard windows) started leaking. Richard immediately came out to inspect. He coordinated with their supplier, Agoura Sash & Door, and even had Milgard’s warranty rep come out twice. Both times, Milgard determined the windows were not covered under warranty.<br>Here’s what separates Richard from everyone else: even though the manufacturer wouldn’t cover it, he was convinced there was an issue and stood behind the project. He paid out of his own pocket to replace the windows again — including new windows, stucco removal, drywall repair, and repainting.<br>That level of integrity is rare.<br>If you’re looking for a contractor who stands behind his work, communicates exceptionally well, and does the right thing even when it costs him — RGC is it.
