44 Gough St Floor 3, Ste. 308, San Francisco“There is truly nothing like this place anywhere in the world. This level of care and compassion from medical providers is very rare nowadays, and I’m so glad I found it so close to my work!
From the very first visit, I already felt part of the “family” and like I was going to be taken care of. Micheline knows her stuff, and I felt like she was personally invested in my improvement. Every single aide was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. Micheline makes sure every aide checks in on how you’re feeling at the beginning, if you’ve noticed any pain or changes, and redoes the plan for you every time. Then Micheline does body work on you and asks you how you’re doing. They always do what you’re comfortable with, and they’re super flexible with whether you’re there over time or leave early. Everything is up to you, and I don’t think there’s that level of care anywhere else.
Scheduling was made easy as Micheline gives you her phone number in case you’re running late or need to move things around last minute. They are so understanding and truly want to make sure you’re doing better. I have never been so sad to leave a place that tortured me with wall sits and bird dogs! And the fact that they send you a little graduation email is adorable.
Thank you everybody at Land’s End, and I hope to never see you again!“
“I came under the care of Marty Mattox after I broke a bone in my foot. I wanted to get back to training for marathons as soon as possible without the risk of reinjuring myself. The entire staff was great, from the people booking the appointment to checking me in to the support therapists that took me through exercises. Marty herself was very knowledgeable, extremely experienced, including with athletes and got me back to being me. On to the Chicago Marathon for me.“

100 Shoreline Hwy Bldg B Suite 150, Mill Valley“In October of 2025 I injured my lower back while on a white water river trip. For weeks following the injury I experienced persistent pain - occasionally with very intense bouts of lower back pain. I first went to Tammara to get a diagnosis and get relief from the pain. It worked. From there, she began to work with me to rebuild strength and help me change the way I move, pick things up, and return to an active life - including kitesurfing and skiing. When I look back at the pain I was in and how I was feeling then, I would not have imagined where I am today. My strength and capacity for pain free movement feels nothing short of miraculous. I am deeply grateful to her. She has great wisdom, experience, and kindness and was instrumental to my recovery.“

667 Chenery St, San Francisco“I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Dr. Kylie Rowe for some years, and she is truly one of the most exceptional physical therapists I know.
Kylie is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and effective. What stands out most, though, is the way she combines her clinical expertise with genuine kindness and compassion. She has a calm, healing presence that makes people feel comfortable and supported from the moment they meet her. Patients feel heard, understood, and cared for.
One of the things I admire most about Kylie is her curiosity. She is always asking questions, thinking deeply, and looking beyond the obvious to understand what is really going on. She doesn’t settle for quick answers and is always looking for the best way to help someone. She brings both creativity and critical thinking to her work, which makes her an outstanding clinician and problem solver.
As a fellow physical therapist, I’ve learned a great deal from Kylie over the years. She has been a wonderful mentor, and I continue to admire her clinical insight, integrity, and dedication to her patients.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with Mai, who is absolutely fantastic. She is professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. She brings such positive energy to her work and consistently makes patients feel supported and cared for.
Living Healthy Physical Therapy is a special place, and Kylie and Mai are a big part of what makes it that way.“

He helped me shift into balance at the level of tissue and structure while also staying well regulated in my nervous system. He listened and communicated with great subtlety. I felt like he was a safe and tremendously helpful partner on my healing journey.“

22 Battery St # 888, San Francisco“I worked with Giancarlo, Carlie, and Zoe throughout my pre- and post-ACL reconstruction surgery, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be in the same physical/mental place without them. I’m incredibly grateful for their wisdom and guidance throughout this year journey.
When I first tore my ACL, I didn’t think I would ever be able to climb or run long distances again. But today I’m bouldering, running up to 8 miles, and even started a new sport—BJJ.
Giancarlo especially supported me throughout the entire process. He is an excellent PT and provided exercises that helped manage my pain and rebuild the strength in my leg. Carlie and Zoe were also amazing, guiding me through each exercise and helping me maintain proper form. Carlie is always on top of the paperwork and is great at responding to emails/phone calls as well.
I’m truly grateful for this team and everything they’ve done for my recovery.“

Four 4 months straight Joey took me through all the steps to recovery. Extremely knowledgable, convivial, empathetic and appropriately forceful, Joey is the best. I am back to biking and hiking. If you want to recover and be like you were, you should call Joey.“

The office is really nice once you’re inside - go down the hall and up the second floor. Super knowledgeable with the care he gave and made sure to follow up with me afterwards. He also did massage which was great. I actually left walking a bit better than before. Front desk and payment/insurance was easy. Some of these other reviews are really incorrect, don’t miss out on this great PT!“
