I was pleased with Kirkwood Animal Hospital’s professional, timely and very friendly service. Dr Hu was knowledgeable, professional and exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you to Dr Hu and the staff for a great first impression! Even though it’s further away from my home I will continue to use their services.
Thank you Kirkwood“

I came in with my two young kids and my 15-year-old cat who wasn’t feeling well and needed testing. My 4- and 6-year-olds got antsy pretty quickly, but the staff had activities and stickers ready to keep them busy. Everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate throughout the whole visit.
Dr Nesset explained everything clearly and thoroughly, and handled my sweet old cat with gentleness. I’m truly so relieved he got great care.“

832 E Fremont Ave, Sunnyvale“I was out of town with my dog when he suddenly had a change in condition, and I decided to bring him here, so glad I did. I was initially hesitant about going to a new vet and worried about being charged for unnecessary treatments, but this ended up being a great experience from start to finish.
I called last minute and was able to get a same day appointment within 30 minutes. The online intake form was quick and easy to complete. I was greeted promptly when entering and waited in the lobby for maybe two minutes before being seen by both the vet tech and the veterinarian.
The staff were professional, kind, and efficient. Noey, the vet tech, kept the visit friendly and handled my dog with genuine care. The doctor was down-to-earth, straightforward, and transparent with no pressure for unnecessary labs or workups. My dog was treated promptly and sent home with medication the same day.
The appointment was simple, quick, and honest. I will definitely be coming back.“

3265 S Winchester Blvd, Campbell“The veterinarians here are excellent as is the team. They are very compassionate, and have many openings that are convenient, even when it's urgent. They have taken great care of me, my two cats, and my little old dog. Plus, they're privately owned, which is a huge plus as it keeps money in our local community!“

Veterinary Clinic, 1036 W El Camino Real, Sunnyvale“I brought my 2-year old Persian cat to this place for stenotic nare surgery (his nose job I've been calling it). Not only is this one of the few places in the Bay Area that offer a cost-effective stenotic nare surgery (it was ~$2.5k and for the record VCA quoted me >$5k) but they did SUCH an excellent job and took care of my cat so well. AND HE BREATHES SO GOOD NOW! They gave me a variety of medication to bring home (pain relievers, anti-inflammatory meds, and antibiotics) that was included in the cost and they even called after to check up on the cat. I honestly would recommend this hospital to everyone needing the same surgery done on their cat. Mr Grumpy is doing great after the surgery, recovering well, and breathing so good.
I'm just blown away how good the surgery looks, I thought my cat's face would look mangled or gross but I keep looking and it's like I can't tell he even got surgery.“

They don't cut corners and have great rapport with animals. They're the best around when it comes to veterinary care.“

23291 Summit Rd, Los Gatos“So far, so good. We dropped off our pup there for her first overnight stay since they are close to our house.
The staff was friendly, and everything went smooth. Not to mention, their daycare and over night stays are reasonably priced.
The only feedback I'd give is that they should charge/allow after hours pick-up because it's hard to be back by 3:30 otherwise you're forced to pick up the next day.
That said, I would gladly pay an extra fee for a later pickup around 7pm or so because getting home from anywhere in the bay area and beyond takes times, but could also become an additional revenue stream for the facility since people are there anyway.“

971 E Hamilton Ave, Campbell“My dog is a patient of Dr Hedden and when my dog was not herself, we called central animal hospital and were able to get her in for an appointment the next day (they actually had a cancellation and could have seen her that day, but we were not available at the time to bring her in) Although I had suspicions she (my dog) had something caught in her throat, over the phone the symptoms I described made the doctor think it could possibly be kennel cough, but after bringing her in and upon further assessment, Dr Hedden was concerned it was something more and wanted to have lab work, and XRay for further evaluation and diagnosis. Because she had not eaten or drank over the past day+, she was showing signs of dehydration and needed IV fluids as well. She was “hospitalized” for the morning and afternoon with the previously mentioned tests and IV fluids and results came back with pancreatitis. She’s now home with us, still not fully recovered (this all took place on Monday/Tuesday, and it is now Thursday), but at least she is excited for walks again, eating/drinking, and pooping! Her energy levels are still low, but she is still going through her course of GI meds and anti-nausea meds. I’m so grateful for the staff and doctors who took care of my dog with prompt treatment and with the wonderful care they provided!“

I am so grateful they offer me a senior discount as my lab Avery was diagnosed with Cushings disease and it’s a very expensive disease with the medicine and constant blood tests to make sure cortisol levels don’t go to high or low. Dr Bibb and Katherine are great. The ladies at the desk Alma and Eileen are also very helpful, I would highly recommend“

They jumped in immediately to help me secure two international health certificates after another vet refused to sign at the eleventh hour wi the out paying an exorbitant fee . The team was thorough, transparent with pricing, and incredibly supportive throughout a stressful situation.
Huge shoutout to Ashley at the front desk for her kindness, staying after hours to get me scheduled, and keeping me updated every step of the way. Truly exceptional care and service, I can’t recommend them enough. They turned a near-disaster into a smooth handled experience, and I’m incredibly grateful.“
