Her experience is off the charts. I was told I had to put my dog down, then we saw Dr. Garrity after and he's still alive. Thank goodness, I was fortunate enough to get her second opinion and keep my dog, Zippy around and still is for months longer.“
“I went here with my family to get a second opinion about my dogs situation and this place was so great and gave us hope and options. We have been here before in the past for my dogs and cats i’m pretty sure but since then we moved to san jose and we made the drive down here just because this place is so great. My 14 year old black lab was really old and he started growing huge tumors on the side of his abdomen. This place gave us the option to surgically remove it and we were more than happy to do that since the last place just told us to put down the dog (we really wanted it removed). Long story short, we found out that this tumor was more cancerous and would spread really fast and his recovery would be 50/50 chance of him surviving. we decided that day during surgery that we should go ahead and put our old doggy down since he was already asleep and we didn’t want further complications to where it injured him. But the way this place handled things was amazing. i asked if i could see him before he was put down and I was so happy i was able to be there for my doggy as he went to sleep. (some vet places don’t let you be in the same room of when they put down your dog because it’s a policy thing but im soo happy i could see him before.) They laid out blankets and candles and gave us a button doorbell to push when we were ready to put him down so it would let the staff know. they gave us all the time we needed with him and we were really grateful of that. I had a small favor to ask and that was to take some pieces of hair and whiskers off my doggy to keep since i also have hair of my other old doggy that passed away years ago and they were more than happy to do that for us. driving home for us was the hardest part because it’s the quietest and most sad car ride knowing your dog isn’t in the back seat wagging its tail and that dog won’t be coming home with you. But a week or 2 later. we got a handwritten card in the mail from this place with a stamp of my doggy’s foot print and that made me burst out in tears. I’m so happy to have this card to remember my childhood dog. Thank you Scott’s Valley Veterinary Clinic. My family truly appreciates the doctor and the whole staff. Even though i didn’t get to take home my doggy in the end, you guys showed love and compassion and we appreciate that.“

Dr. Bannerman is Cooper's vet and she is great with him and very responsive to calls, email, and during visits. Because of the people, he loves going to the vet even if it includes shots or exams.“

“We love not having our more shy pets stress out about going to the vet. Marc is great about telling us what the animals need and doesn’t upsell us on services and treatments that are not unnecessary. Things have been a little hectic for vets with the pandemic surge of adoptions, so we’ve had to be a little more proactive in getting info and services, but that’s been common across the industry. These guys are handling a trying time better than most.“

“We love the team of compasionate and wonderful women and vet techs who give the best care to our pets. They are all good listeners and take time to answer questions. We have taken our pets to whichever vet is available and always had a positive experience. Hence we continue to go all the way here because my fearful, shy dog does very well wirh the vets and vet teachs. The place is run in an organized manner and not chaotic like other vet offices. We love having access to holistic vets who understand the big picture and it's great to have accupuncture and chiropractic services all in the same place. They vets take time and give you personal attention and you get to go in and have a room to yourself and your pet.The best part is unlike a lot of vets, they're not trying to sell you flea/tick medication, vaccines, and keep pumping your let's with whatever is recommended on paper. I like they they give us the information and leave us to make well informed choices. They are open and knowledgeable about the latest science and hence take time to understand and then make recommendations. This is why we continue to go far to access their services.“

The front office is always professional and courteous, some of the best customer service I have experienced when it comes to veterinary care. As a client you really feel like they are listening to your concerns as you are never rushed. When it comes to surgery or getting a second opinion, my brother drives his dog 6 hours just to come to Harbor Vet. That's how special this place is.“

“Your clinic took exceptionally good care of our dog after a pretty serious injury after our regular vet said they could not see her for several days. Dr. Gerrity came in on her day off to treat our pet. We will be moving our regular vet needs from where they were before to Boulder Creek Vet. We could not ask for more from a vet than we got on Friday from Dr. Gerrity and the rest of the staff. Thank you!!“
