About NewLife Spa

NewLife Spa is a welcoming establishment known for its beautiful lobby, spacious suites, and friendly staff. Guests appreciate the overall atmosphere and often express satisfaction with their stays, highlighting the attentive Guest Services that quickly address any issues. The spa is located in a residential area, providing convenient parking options, including street parking during the day without a permit and temporary overnight parking permits available for purchase. However, some reviews point out areas for improvement. Guests have noted that the breakfast offerings could use better quality and variety, with a desire for an a la carte option. Additionally, there have been complaints about strong perfume odors in the common areas, particularly in the elevator lobby, which some found overwhelming. Noise from water pipes and lighting has also been mentioned as a disturbance. While the overall experience is generally positive, there are concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Specific issues, such as the condition of in-room kettles and the presence of strong odors, detract from the guest experience. Despite these drawbacks, many guests still find the environment quiet and enjoyable, and they express a desire to return, provided that the mentioned issues are addressed. NewLife Spa has the potential to be an even more inviting destination with some enhancements to its services and facilities.

I wish I could give 1 star! Terrible! I got s birthday gift voucher for massage and manicure. I didn’t bring anything with myself and just wanted to enjoy my gift. At the end the manager held my parking validation as a hostage to get tip! I was so embarrassed not to have anything with me and they put me in the corner and investigating me why I don’t have apple pay ,Zelle, cash or paypal or anything else to give them? And during manicure they were really pushing hard to sell me different services so I felt terrible why I came here?!very uncomfortable! They told me ;”you don’t know you have to pay tip?”Really??This is how you treat people and forcing them to tip...read full review

There is lots to love about the Sheraton San Gabriel, from the beautiful lobby to gorgeous facade, spacious suites and friendly staff. I was very happy with our stay compared to other hotels in the area and will definitely come back. The only quibble is that breakfast is awful - it needs better quality and variety and unlike most Marriott properties, there wasn't even an a la carte option available to upgrade to. A minor quibble for a very good hotel.

I've stayed plenty of nights with Sheraton. And love it every time, if there are any issues that arise Guest Services are on it quickly. We usually come about 2-3 times a year. Parking is $18 per vehicle per day with unlimited entry. Located in a residential area, you're allowed to park on the street during the day without permit. No parking on street without a permit between 2am-6am or you will be fined by city of San Gabriel. You may purchase a temporary overnight parking permit for $4 per night from a permit vending machine at the San Gabriel Police Department or the San Gabriel Parks and Recreation Department. I would advise to call front desk before arrival if you have any questions or concerns regarding your room. You may request for specific accommodations but it's not always guarantee depending on availability and other circumstances. Microwaves are availability upon request and availability, they only have a handful floating around. Suites give you Lounge access on the 6th floor which includes breakfast. Monday-Friday is until 9am and Saturday-Sunday is from 6am-11am. There usually is country potatoes, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, some sort of protein, oatmeal, pastries like danishes, cut fruit, cereal, fresh squeezed oj and toast section. When breakfast isn't being served you're able to access lounge and there are select soda and water in fridge along with some fruits, nuts, Chex mix and granola bars. Lealiz is always extremely helpful and friendly, her hospitality is through the roof. She so personable and always makes sure you have what you need.
