“Highly recommend Sean! He’s a perfectionist, and I got to admire his work throughout the whole process from washing, cutting, shaping, to styling, he was absolutely meticulous, and has a very soft touch (never felt any pain, I usually do at most salons)! I must admit that I was a wee bit nervous at first upon realizing that the L’amour team speaks Chinese and little English, because how am I going to tell them exactly what I wanted - long layers with face framing pieces, not too choppy, but still good movement, and a little blowout? But from a short glance at a few saved picture examples that I had, and some expressive body gestures and communication, Sean knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me exactly what I wanted. On my way out, I saw an Asian girl who had bleached blonde hair, and let me tell you, it looked GOOD. So I think this place is a true gem with professionals who know what they’re doing. It’s definitely a great fit if you speak Chinese, wish I did!“

“One of my close friends regularly gets her hair done here, and because of how amazing she always looks, I decided to come as well. I got a bleach + peekaboo dye and had the best experience ever! The owner and his assistant (?) were both super kind and lovely. They offered me a charger, water, and several snacks to help pass the time while waiting for the bleach. My hair was in terrible shape when I walked in and I felt so ugly, but I was able to leave feeling more confident thanks to the owner's skills. The color turned out perfect, and I can't believe how soft my hair still feels after all that bleach! I love it so much. “Super nice lady, inconsistent hours. Calling the place 10 times may yield one response…if you’re lucky. The reason you wanna call is bc you may go at 11am like I did today, and see that it was closed. There was a sign saying they’d open at 1pm today. All well and good, but if they picked up the phone at all, they could’ve saved me a trip. Thebpady is so nice there, but alas, I just need a hair salon that at least answers the phone so I can check to see what time they decide to open each day, since apparently it’s fluid ?“

I highly recommend Maria—she is truly an amazing hairstylist! For years, my sister-in-law told me about her, but I was always a little nervous to try someone new. I finally decided to start with just a toner, and I absolutely loved the results—she really understood exactly what I needed.

Later, I went back for a retouch. I had been struggling with my gray hair coming in all at once, and at 46, I wasn’t quite ready to embrace it yet. I explained my concerns and showed her a few styles I liked, and she immediately knew the perfect color to use. She completely took the stress away and gave me a look I feel confident in.

I received so many compliments after she did my hair—I didn’t even know what to do with myself! If you’re thinking about trying someone new, I definitely recommend giving Maria a chance. You won’t be disappointed!

“I wasn’t able to get an appointment with my usual hairstylist, so I Googled and found this place not too far from me.

The guy who cut my hair today (Jack?) gave me a layered style. I could tell he takes great pride in his work. He carefully sprayed, cut and ironed my hair over the course of an hour. Jack speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently as well.

Overall, I am very impressed with this salon. Inside, it’s clean and has the right atmosphere!

Ive been dark and gone to blonde and for ever reason my hair doesnt process right, she tells me to come back and she well get me to the cute picture i show her from my inspiration. (as a girl you dye your hair alot and have diff. hair colors) My sisters and my whole family come to get their hair done here. Aurelia is amazing I love it here!
