“Wow! This is the most professional and amazing groomer we have ever been to. After a lifetime of going to the groomer every two weeks our 15 year old Malshi suddenly decided she does not tolerate groomers anymore. She is going deaf and blind and is just having a hard time, so long story short we have been trying to find a new groomer that could cater to her spicy senior demeanor. We saw a video of Logan the groomer grooming a spicy dog on social media and immediately made an appointment same day. To say we were relieved and impressed would be an understatement. Beginning to end, booking to pick up the experience was 100/10. The staff is so kind and patient. They took the time to go over our senior's quirks before the appointment and by some miracle were able to groom her completely. They did a wonderful job and she didn't seem stressed at all upon pick-up. Will be back and highly recommend for senior dogs needing special care.“

“I moved my 2/3 pug 1/3 pittie-boxer foster fail love bug (Juan Pablo) from Camp-Run-A-Mutt to Paw Commons for doggy daycare.

Paw Commons has by far been the better experience for our pup. First, there is way more space, a great water feature where the dogs who want to get wet can frolic, and there are way fewer dogs (or simply just way more space for them).

My pup stopped wanting to get out of the car at the former place where at Paw Commons, he is super excited to go and jumps happily out of the car when we arrive.

This speaks volumes of the difference in experience he had. The humans at both places are professional and kind, it just seems like the dogs have a little more room to play, jump up on various things, hide under things and of course engage in water play if they want. 10/10. The owner of Paw Commons is very passionate about providing an amazing experience for the dogs. Perhaps something about being a franchise like Camp-Run-A-Mutt they need to get as many dogs as possible crammed in on any given day.

“I had such a good experience here! My dog Tuna has a double coat, and unfortunately we've had our fair share of experiences where groomers shave her when I ask them not to. Jamie was extremely kind and asked lots of questions, she even texted me to make sure the length was okay while she was grooming! 10/10 experience, will definitely bring Tuna back. I will note that the parking lot is a little tight, but there is street parking if the lot is full!“

“I’ve brought both my dogs to Angel. The first experience was with my Coco who is considered a reactive dog so I was nervous about her behavior. After five minutes into our first meet not only did Angel calm me down he calm Coco down in such a compassionate way. “I used Finest City Dog Training (Jessica is AMAZING) for my new puppy. She referred me to Shannon for pet sitting. I had to go out of town for four days, and my Pup was only four months old, I almost canceled…. Until I met Shannon! We had a meet and greet and I could immediately tell she was a very loving dog person! My puppy stayed with her for four days. I received pictures and a report each day, he had a fabulous time! Shannon brought him in to her home and treated him like a part of her family. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Santaluz Animal Care and Dr. Laura Johnson! They saved my dog Hei-Hei’s life, and I will forever be grateful for their compassion, skill, and generosity. Our 7 lb. Chihuahua had been wasting away, dropping to 5.5 lbs. due to a severe dental infection. His white blood cell count was elevated, he was in pain, and they also discovered early-stage renal failure. We were terrified, but Santaluz Animal Care went above and beyond. We explained that we could only afford $1,000, and they stayed within budget without cutting corners. They did full blood work, a complete dental extraction, all necessary medications, a prescription diet change, X-rays to ensure no roots were left, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression—all at no extra charge. We were nervous about anesthesia, but Dr. Johnson reassured us that Hei-Hei would do wonderfully and even confirmed his heart was as strong as a younger dog’s. What truly amazed us was their flexibility and kindness. On Tuesday, 02/11/25, they took him in immediately—even though they don’t typically accept same-day emergencies. They also don’t do extractions on Wednesdays, meaning we might have had to wait until Thursday, 02/13/25—a delay he may not have survived. Dr. Johnson was empathetic, kind, and accommodating. My husband had to handle everything alone, and they treated him with so much care and respect. From start to finish, the entire staff showed an incredible level of dedication and compassion. If you need a vet that truly cares and will go the extra mile for your pet, Santaluz Animal Care is the place to go. They didn’t just save our dog’s life—they gave us more precious years with him. “My babies were taken care of so well, I really love the one on one grooming they received. They got a nice bath, ears cleaned, paws scrubbed, cologne for him and perfume for her along with other services done. They smelled so good after and every service was done perfectly.
