“I found Raise the Wuff while searching for a fear free dog groomer who is known for handling anxious dogs. I am so happy to have found them and lucky they had a cancellation for soon after I first contacted them. Charity was timely and very courteous and professional. My dog is a nervous girl usually with grooming but Charity made her feel safe and comfortable. Maple is not as nervous/shaky as she has been in the past coming home from the groomers and she looks great!

“Wow! This is the most professional and amazing groomer we have ever been to. After a lifetime of going to the groomer every two weeks our 15 year old Malshi suddenly decided she does not tolerate groomers anymore. She is going deaf and blind and is just having a hard time, so long story short we have been trying to find a new groomer that could cater to her spicy senior demeanor. We saw a video of Logan the groomer grooming a spicy dog on social media and immediately made an appointment same day. To say we were relieved and impressed would be an understatement. Beginning to end, booking to pick up the experience was 100/10. The staff is so kind and patient. They took the time to go over our senior's quirks before the appointment and by some miracle were able to groom her completely. They did a wonderful job and she didn't seem stressed at all upon pick-up. Will be back and highly recommend for senior dogs needing special care.“

“I am a new customer and they chose to give my dog individual playtime for his two day stay. They sent me a daily report telling me how was doing. It sounded like he was having fun! They even included several pictures of him with the staff during his stay.
Overall I think my dog loved his stay here. He will be going again soon while I go on vacation.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Santaluz Animal Care and Dr. Laura Johnson! They saved my dog Hei-Hei’s life, and I will forever be grateful for their compassion, skill, and generosity. Our 7 lb. Chihuahua had been wasting away, dropping to 5.5 lbs. due to a severe dental infection. His white blood cell count was elevated, he was in pain, and they also discovered early-stage renal failure. We were terrified, but Santaluz Animal Care went above and beyond. We explained that we could only afford $1,000, and they stayed within budget without cutting corners. They did full blood work, a complete dental extraction, all necessary medications, a prescription diet change, X-rays to ensure no roots were left, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression—all at no extra charge. We were nervous about anesthesia, but Dr. Johnson reassured us that Hei-Hei would do wonderfully and even confirmed his heart was as strong as a younger dog’s. What truly amazed us was their flexibility and kindness. On Tuesday, 02/11/25, they took him in immediately—even though they don’t typically accept same-day emergencies. They also don’t do extractions on Wednesdays, meaning we might have had to wait until Thursday, 02/13/25—a delay he may not have survived. Dr. Johnson was empathetic, kind, and accommodating. My husband had to handle everything alone, and they treated him with so much care and respect. From start to finish, the entire staff showed an incredible level of dedication and compassion. If you need a vet that truly cares and will go the extra mile for your pet, Santaluz Animal Care is the place to go. They didn’t just save our dog’s life—they gave us more precious years with him. The communication was clear that they were busy and I did not feel neglected nor did our appointment time run too long. After my cat went over the bridge, I was petless until recently when I adopted a lovely male labradoodle. True to the great service I received previously with my cat, they welcomed Doc with great service and many scratches. Still a great vet hospital, and Dr. G is still the best.

I was referred to BVH when my previous vet's office closed, and I couldn't be more pleased. Everything is explained in detail, and the Dr. my cat sees is great with cats. Mine is a brat, but Dr. Gunderson is able to calm her right down. She is thorough and informative, and very interested in the well being of her furry patients. The fact that she has a number of her own cats helps, I'm sure. Very impressed with both the care and the ease with which I can schedule an appointment. Thanks BVH staff.“

“Eduardo did an amazing job on my giant Saint Bernard-he was perfect and have dealt with a lot of groomers -will use all the time for our 4 dogs!“

“Most of the dog wash stations where blocked off but I only needed one. It is wonderful to have 24 hour availability. I've never been to a dog washing station before so I'm not sure if $16 for 16 minutes is a reasonable price or not. I would have given a five star if the machine had actually paused the time like it said it would but other then that I am very appreciative of this business.“

“We love Jamie and Karla! I’ve been looking for a groomer for my two doodles that’s closer to me and has reasonable prices. As doodles owners may know - some salons are sometimes not the friendliest towards doodles, but Karla and Jamie are professional, understanding and AWESOME at what they do.

They create a comfortable environment for the girls and are always so sweet. I usually give them a full groom every 3 months ( we’re not afraid to go short because we’re active girls) they do an incredible job and the grow out is sooo cute!“
