I have been taking my dog Mavis here since she was a puppy. I highly recommend socializing, and prefer this safe environment over dog parks. She absolutely loves it here and comes home completely pupped out lol.
The staff is attentive and friendly. They share pictures every couple hours. Drop off and pick-ups are easy and quick.
The grooming is always Top Notch. Even when playing all day, she doesn't come home smelling like dogs.
They also give out FREE food samples from a partnering company.
3 years of back to back satisfaction and consistent customer service !

“I have been to quite a few dog grooming places in the recent years due to pregnancies and it being near impossible to bath my dogs the bigger I got.
I stumbled upon Urban Pet roughly a year ago and every time I pick up both of my dogs they are always clean and dry. Absolutely love their service and although I have seen reviews stating they are expensive I would have to disagree.
My dogs aren't over 45lbs and I've had groomers charge me as if their 65lb dogs and it was well over $180.
Never once has that happened here.“

It hard to find the perfect Grommers for your my dog especially when they’re picking finally this has been his go to place the groomers welcome them the place smells like a spa making them feel relaxed and treats at the end of the end of the session. “If you’ve got a goldendoodle, you already know… you don’t own a dog, you own a walking mop with feelings.

These ladies always take care of our dog Jefferson and somehow turn him from “just rolled through a bush” into a respectable member of society again. They’re always happy, super attentive, and his hair comes out looking right every time…which is saying a lot because doodle hair is no joke.

They’re also on point with timing. Drop him off, pick him up when they say, no guessing games.

“I recently brought my cat, James, to this veterinary hospital for a heart scan after he was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. At the very beginning, there was a small hiccup with scheduling — I was told I would receive a call back, and after a few days I hadn’t heard anything. I ended up reaching out via email, and once I did, everything completely turned around.

From that point on, the care and communication were exceptional. The team was extremely apologetic about the delay and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. They followed up before and after the appointment, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Justine, who took incredible care of me and James. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and genuinely made up for that initial misstep. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier.

I’m very grateful for the care James received and truly appreciate how much effort the team put into making things right. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy.“

“We’ve been to Mo multiple times, and he has always been incredibly gentle with my dog and given her some of the prettiest cuts she’s ever had, which is why I trusted him so much.

Unfortunately, this last time her hair was cut really short without me realizing that was going to happen. I was there when she was finished, but it took me a little time to process how drastic the change was. Once I got home, it honestly broke my heart. My fluffy little Yorkie now looks naked and very boy-like. I really love the specific look of the breed and have always tried to keep her fluffy, Yorkie appearance, so this was especially upsetting.

What makes it harder for me to understand is that she wasn’t matted, and she is a very calm dog during grooming. She needed a bath and some hygienic trimming, but I don’t understand why her entire body had to be taken this short without discussing it with me first. Now it will take months for her coat to grow back. Every time I look at her now I feel so sad

The cut itself is clean, so my issue isn’t the technical quality of the grooming. I just wish such a major change had been communicated beforehand.

I’d still trust Mo to be gentle and caring with a pup, but if you have a long-coated breed or care about preserving a specific breed look, I’d be extremely clear about the length you want left and confirm it more than once beforehand.“

“Not the cheapest place but they do good work, can do unscented treatments and my wife that has bad allergies. They do de-shed our dog so he doesn't shed all over the house and the grooming enables my wife's to cuddle our 90 pound monster.“

“I’ve taken 4 dogs now to Golden Dog…SO PLEASED! We just moved back to Bonita/South Bay in November, and so I had been looking for a Groomer and took my boy and Girl and then two of my girls puppies. Jake and staff are amazing. Thorough, attentive, You can tell they really care about the animals they’re servicing. We had tried another groomer recommended here in Bonita and both my boy and girl had nicks and cuts on their skin from getting shaved too close and the cut/style was just not that great. Completely different experience at Golden Dog… Just check out my pictures! I think we’ve found our permanent groomer!“
