1600 Tribute Rd, Sacramento“My PT Drew Reid was fantastic! Prior to having a total hip replacement in Nov ‘24, I went to another PT. It felt performative. On the other hand,my experience with KPPT/Drew felt collaborative because he listened to my needs, and as a result understood my lifestyle and the resources available to me. He suggested progressively more challenging PT routines based on my feedback and his expertise. I made tangible progress weekly and was able to get back to playing pickleball and cycling around 8 weeks after THR. That’s a huge win in my book! I continued to make tangible progress thereafter and even after “graduating” from PT continue to get stronger.“

2344 Butano Dr C5, Sacramento“I had been interested in finding a personal trainer for some time, but always felt intimidated due to my lack of knowledge in the gym and also by the high price point. When I found Body By Vlad online, I immediately knew that it was different from other places I had found when researching local options. Due to the website’s complete transparency about the program’s offerings, the trainers, and the (surprisingly reasonable) pricing structure, I decided to take a chance and booked a free consultation with Linea. At the risk of sounding cliché, I had no idea that that decision would completely change my life. Linea was immediately so warm, friendly, and kind that I knew this gym was something I wanted to be a part of. And that is exactly what happens when you join…. you become a part of it. Right after my consultation, Vlad reached out to see if I had any questions and provided me with a recommended meal plan and exercise and stretching program based on the amount of time I had available during the week, and he incorporated equipment I had available to me at home. When you get inside the gym itself…there is no intimidation factor here – in fact, it often feels like your own private gym. The place is always immaculately clean (even the bathrooms, with available showers), and every piece of equipment is always in perfect working order. As for the guided workouts themselves – Linea teaches and leads with patience and grace, taking the time to explain what muscle groups I’m working, so that I always know I’m doing the exercise correctly and with proper form. Don’t get me wrong – the workouts are TOUGH, but the circuits are always mindfully varied and a lot of fun, and I always leave feeling proud knowing I’ve accomplished something challenging. I have also trained with Sean a couple of times, and he is amazing! I am approaching my one-year anniversary at this gym, and the improvement in my strength, both mentally and physically, in such a short amount of time, is absolutely mind blowing. Through this program, I have become so much more aware of nutrition. I also feel comfortable walking into a gym and working out on my own, and I have so much more confidence than I did when I first started.. I can’t wait to see the progress I’ll continue to make, and would encourage ANYONE to join this amazing space.“

“Pam has turned out to be so much more than I had expected in a personal trainer. She’s super knowledgeable, she’s always professional, and she’s a great teacher. Her own personal commitment to fitness and her dedication to teaching is always inspiring. It’s been a pleasure.“

708 57th St, Sacramento“I have been visiting Billy Martinez for several years to address various health issues related to my osteoarthritis. Different body parts tend to act up, prompting me to seek his help. What sets Billy apart is his ability to assess each situation and provide a range of exercises that empower me to aid my healing and strengthen the affected areas. His office operates efficiently, which adds to the comfort of knowing I receive the best possible care. Over the years, Billy has consistently encouraged me to continue taking various classes, warning me that I would be in significant trouble if I didn’t. I feel fortunate to have someone like Billy to rely on, and many others share this sentiment.“

2636 Fulton Ave #100, Sacramento“Heart Zones has been the leader in using heart rate data to motivate personal fitness, growth, and mental health. Sally Edward's has made it her life's work to help us all have a better quality of life. I was really happy to see the work they are doing with our youth through so many schools in America. I am fitter in my 70s than I was in my 30s, thanks to HeartZones.“

2355 2nd Ave, Sacramento“I dragged my post-pandemic body into Figure 8 back in January, and Alicia was kind enough to take me in. They have all the equipment I needed to get myself back into shape, including a great trainer. I love that I can work out at my own pace on my own time. What a gift to have this gem so nearby. Grateful for Figure 8!“

“The trainers at IW are welcoming and supportive. They genuinely accept each participant at any level and encourage us to challenge ourselves while being non judgemental when we are just getting started. I'm retired, and this workout studio has been a blessing. I feel so comfortable here with the small group workouts. Keeps me coming back. I could never be this consistent at a large gym where I was more just a face in the crowd. Some IW participants come with injuries, back problems, or are pregnant, and the trainers give modifications. They are really good about remembering the need for those modifications, as well as remembering the participants' individual goals and reason for being there. Seems like people tend to stay members for many years and are regulars at the workouts. That's impressive! There are about 5 trainers that lead the workouts. Each has a different style; they are all lovely humans. I encourage my friends to try different trainers when they start out. Whether you want to build back your muscle mass (like I do), or you want something else: to be buff, or to lose weight and keep it off, or you just want to live a healthy life-- this is a Sacramento gem. The fixed fee covers as many workouts as you want. Even though it is more than the monthly fee I've paid at any gym, it is so worth it. I've never been this consistent or hooked on workouts. So grateful I finally walked through those doors.“
