“I worked with All Things Good recently and had an excellent experience. I had a wall gas heater removed and an electric heat pump with two mini-splits installed. Things went well from start to finish.First, Casey came out for the initial evaluation and proposal. He was knowledgeable, helpful and his communication afterwards was prompt. He recommended adding in insulation which I have noticed has made a big difference already in maintaining the temperature inside my home. He also informed me that I would be eligible for a GoGreen home loan to help finance the project which was a big help.Next, Ricky, the lead on the installation team was also very communicative. He kept me informed about the timing of the project. The install team was friendly and worked quickly. Ricky also helped me afterwards with the warranty.Alex, the owner of the company, walked me through the GoGreen application and gave the supporting documentation to the loan company for that. He was communicative and very helpful in that regard.Lastly, Stacie who works in the office, drove out to my house today to be sure that the rebate forms are in order to qualify me for the rebate. I was so appreciative that she took the time to do that.All in all, I felt that this was one of those rare companies that treats you like they would treat a family member. The price they gave me was the same as another Bay Area company, but the service, the help with the GoGreen loan and the help with the rebate made them stand out. I am thinking about another project and I will definitely go back to them.“

“Advanced Home Energy helped me do a whole efficiency upgrade to my home. Their technician Laura first came and did a test-in. She used high-tech tools to measure the leakage of the house and the old ductwork, the performance and safety of all my gas appliances, efficiency of windows, and existing insulation. Then they sent me an extremely thorough report with recommendations, explanations, and projected energy savings for different measures we could take. We ended up replacing my 1955 furnace with a new high efficiency furnace, and they suggested I put it in my attic instead of a closet. We actually gained a huge closet space as a side-benefit! AHE then installed all new insulated ducts and sealed them super-tight. There was one guy who spent a whole day literally painting this duct mastic inside all my register boxes so they'd be absolutely air-tight. Then after the furnace was installed, we did blown-in cellulose in my attic and walls, air sealing in the crawlspace, all new dual-pane windows which look GREAT, and I even got a nice set of pull-down attic stairs out of the deal where there used to be just a 2' x 2' hole. I had asked if the furnace be situated so that I could have some attic storage space available, and they more than accommodated my request. I also asked if the furnace would be quiet, and they explained that to help with this, they install an "acoustic loop" in the return air duct, which means that the duct travels a longer distance between the return air grille in my ceiling and the actuall furnace. Man, I can barely hear this thing when it fires up!Laura came back and did a test-out, to see if they had met their projected energy savings. They hadn't only met them, they had exceeded them. They submitted all the paperwork to the Energy Upgrade California program, and about 6 weeks later, I got a rebate check for $4500!!!!!Now we are several months into winter, and I was really curious what our utility bills would look like. Well, let me start by saying that my wife had a baby (a home birth in our toasty, quiet house!) on December 7. We had the thermostat set on 71 degrees for the entire month of December and January, all day, every day. Last winter, I kept the thermostat on 68 at night, and left it off for 8 hours a day while we were at work. Even with the extreme increase in heat usage from last winter to this winter, our energy bills are HALF of what they used to be. I'm saving at least $100/month all winter. Between that and the rebate, this job is going to pay for itself within 10 years. And my family and I get the benefits of living in a quiet, comfortable home. I am absolutely elated. “I would like to thank Jovany Cuellar and Salvador Cuellar for doing an amazing job on 2 projects in my home. I sincerely appreciate their honesty in project pricing, good communication skills (they are working on projects daily but they do respond in a timely manner), highly skilled workmanship, amazing attention to detail and impeccable work ethic. Cuellar Property Solutions completed a carpet/linoleum demo with a vinyl floor installation for a 498 sq ft family room. After demo it was obvious the concrete subflooring was going to need to be leveled prior to installing a 20mil vinyl plank flooring. His cost proposal for the added/new project scope of leveling the concrete subfloor was reasonable and honest. (I sought out 2 other estimates that were ridiculously high) . With that said; the completion of the concrete leveling of the subfloor, installation of the vinyl plank flooring and the baseboards looks amazing. (please see photos) Additionally, they clean up after demo/construction and haul away the trash after each project. (I have experienced contractors leaving a mess and trash after a project) My second project was to add quartzite ledger to my existing brick fireplace which required having to level the brick surface to apply the floating quartzite ledger and quartzite corner pieces. They also creatively installed 12x24 porcelain tile on the landing in front of the fireplace. With that part of the project they very creatively, cut pieces of the quartzite ledger in order to create a quartzite bullnose to frame the tile installed on the fireplace landing. Again, this speaks to their creativity, skill, workmanship and work ethic to complete the job and make it look beautiful. I am extremely pleased with this outcome. As a homeowner I have had to hire several contractors in the last two years and I have had the worst experience with having to spend more money to correct the poor workmanship of these unskilled contractors. However, I am grateful to have met Jovany and Salvador because I trust and believe they are honest contractors that have my best interest at heart and are willing to help me understand the best way to complete my project vision.
