“Michael is a very nice man and went out of his way to make this project to create a bedroom for my elderly mom moving in that gave her privacy in an open concept loft. He worked with us on scaling the project to fit our budget and when one of the subs he used did not do a good job initially - Michael made it right on his own dime.

Installing the interior window allows light going both ways and looks great! But the best (and hardest) part was his custom installation of a sliding door with a complicated no-show rail system that glides with soft close. The floor wasn’t level and the door and hardware didn’t match but Michael made it look and function great and wouldn’t stop until he got it exactly right.

We are very grateful for his work and for working with him personally. Can’t recommend enough!“

“Placed a call on Tuesday and got a tech out Wednesday morning. He examined my leaking faucet, offered me a few options that he carried in the truck, and then got to work. He did a great job of marking off the sink and ensuring alignment of the new faucet. Installed the feed lines and everything was completed in about an hour.
He was very pressional and friendly, wore booties inside the house and cleaned up at the end of the work.

“I contacted Elegant Door after my first estimate from another company. The other company said the door i wanted would not fit and steered me to a door i really didnt want. Matt came by, took measurements, and said the door i wanted WOULD indeed fit. Matt's quote came in almost $5000 LESS than the first company, so I went with Elegant Door. Installation occurred about a month after I signed the contract. Matt and his helper arrived on time and got right to work. Total job took 4 hrs. They did a very nice job and took care not to damage my flooring. There was minor damage to my stucco which they tried to fix, but once its painted I don't think it will be very noticeable. Overall super happy with their service and the door Installation. Just need to get a coat of paint on it and it will be perfect. Painted door is the before picture, white door is new door installed. Because of him, I know about how many years left I have, what work I can do to extend the life, and how much replacement will cost. He also gave me a reference for a solar panel company to do roof-related work since Sunpower (our installer) is out of business. In short, he was incredibly experienced, thorough, and honest! “We worked with George on a major remodel of our house, essentially down to the studs. From excavation and laying new foundation all the way up to bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, new roof -- George was a consummate professional and excellent to work with.
