“I have a 2200 sf home in Roseville that is 19 years old, so I decided to replace my HVAC system. Scott and Alpine were referred to me by my parents, for whom Alpine replaced an HVAC system about 7 years ago. Since they were very happy with the work Alpine did, I gave Scott a call. We spent a lot of time on the phone discussing what I had, and he had several suggestions... including giving me the name of a local HVAC company (Alpine is about an hour away). After getting quotes from a large national company and a couple local companies (including the one Scott recommended), Scott and Josh drove the hour to scope out my system and provided the best option and price. The following week a team of 3 spent 3 days replacing my system, and they did an excellent job. You can tell they take pride in their work. While the old system did its job for 19 years, the unit in the attic looked like it was put together hastily... a lot of tape, a drip line that wasn't connected, and ductwork that you had to climb over and under to get to the unit. Not only does the unit look nice, but they moved a lot of the ductwork so you can easily get to the unit. They also put another AC pad under the new outside AC unit, effectively raising it so it sits above the ground (the old AC unit sat flush with the ground, so bark and dirt got into the grill). Another thing I was happy with... the other companies said they needed to run a new refrigerant line from the new AC unit up the outside of my home to the attic, but Alpine was able to flush out the old line and use it. Oh, and they also put in a whole house fan.I've had the system for a week now and the furnace is so quiet I don't even know it's on unless I'm in the room the unit sits directly above. And although I don't expect to use the AC for a few months, it was tested during the install and is so much quieter... you can have a conversation while standing next to it when running.So I highly recommend Scott and Alpine Heating and Air Conditioning of Shingle Springs for your HVAC needs.“

“I cannot express just how good the customer service is at this place. Our air conditioning broke over Fourth of July weekend and within twenty minutes of opening after I left a message during the holiday, I received a call back from Gabrielle and they sent out Jim that same day. The problem was diagnosed almost immediately and repair completed quickly. However the story doesn't end there! The initial repair led to the discovery of a secondary issue -- which was slightly delayed because we left on vacation during the first repair, so when we got back to a hot apartment they once again made us feel like we were top priority. When Jim couldn't reproduce the issue we had the second time, he even came back outside of his scheduled route to do a double check and was then able to diagnose the problem and complete a repair!During this whole process they received a lot of phone calls from me--enough for me to annoy them definitely, but they never came across annoyed. Gabrielle was always friendly and super helpful over the phone, and if she missed my call I never went more than 15-20 minutes without receiving a call back. In the same way, Jim was super friendly and responsive on-sight and explained what was going on in all of his workI would highly recommend this business and if I ever need HVAC service in the future, I know who I'm calling.“

Technician Mark promptly arrived and efficiently fixed my air conditioner, only charging a reasonable $149.00 for the service call and an additional $26.00 for the run capacitor replacement part. The total cost of $175.00 was a pleasant surprise compared to the staggering $2227.00 estimate from Gilmore heating, air, and plumbing company that said it was the circuit board and the blower . “My A/C unit in my house stopped working Sunday night at 4:00 pm. (Hottest day of the year so far, ~86 F in April!) They called me back this morning and are at my house at 1:30. Both the dispatcher in the office (Fernando) and the technician (David) were very friendly. David worked on the unit and checked everything (EV-RY-THING!!) multiple times. It works so much better now. I will be going back to Mr. Cool exclusively. Great company.“

“We asked another Larger HVAC vendor to explore why our HVAC system was not working. The Representative gave us a diagnosis that required we replace our system. I felt that the representative was just trying to sell us a new system. I called Dino of Deal Heating & Air, he diagnosis the problem as a simple broken wire, very inexpensive to fix, but I talked further with Dino and decided to replace my 35year old system for other reasons.
