“Recently had pre-summer struggling of a 20 year old Lennox and decided to switch to a heat pump on the recommendation of trusted friends. Between my partner and I, we interviewed 6 HVAC contractors either recommended by friends or highly reviewed. To be perfectly honest even with the creation of an excel spreadsheet, comparison was difficult as the contractors offered different manufacturers, different models, different add ons (e.g. maintenance contracts, labor warranty etc). We chose Erik and Belle Air Systems because of a very old fashion quality—Erik’s word is his bond! He didn’t upsell; he didn’t over promise, i.e., no surprise costs as the project got underway. He communicated clearly every step of the way from setting up an expedited evaluation (which he arranged to do the next day himself as we had an uncomfortable tenant and her dog on our hands!) to installing the unit by the end of the week. In fact, he was delayed by less than half an hour for our initial appointment but rather than leaving me waiting, called to update me. He fielded countless questions in separate communications via phone, text and email, wanting us to feel confident before moving forward. His contract was straightforward—he arranged all required testing and submissions promptly and we received our SMUD rebate check within 2 weeks just as he said we would. No one wants to race to replace a conked out air conditioning under the pressure of an encroaching heat wave arriving before summer officially started but working with Erik relieved the pressure. He really is a gem—a genuine pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!“

“After receiving a quote for HVAC repair that made little sense to me, I reached out to Alpha Mechanical. They were a certified Trane repair business and had strong reviews. Andrey was able to come out to our house quickly and gave me an estimate along the lines I was expecting. They quickly turned the repair around too. Before the repair was completed, I thought there could be multiple issues that needed attention. A couple days later the secondary problem needed to be addressed. Andrey worked with me virtually to help identify the issue. The next morning he stopped by to confirm the issue and a few hours later had the part and completed the repair. Without Andrey coming through my family would have been without air going into a hot weekend. I will be using Alpha Mechanical for all my HVAC needs moving forward…..“

“I called Ben based on his Google reviews. We just moved in is August and our heater stopped working. Ben answered the phone immediately and was here in 12 minutes. He flipped the breaker off and on and the system came to life! Turns out, he installed the HVAC for the previous owner! No charge, and I will always call Ben. Highly recommend!!“

“Updated 7/2/26: This company is 5 star plus. TJ is awesome. Thank you. I am so impressed by this company's service. I had gotten estimates from 3 other HVAC companies well over $10k to replace the whole system. David provided me with the option of replacing just the A/C system for under $6k. I signed the contract on Friday and they installed it on Monday. TJ went above and beyond when he examined the refrigerant line (buried under insulation) and found two kinks in the copper line. He had to cut out one damaged section and solder in a new piece, which was done at no additional charge. So very happy with my new A/C and saved over $4,000. Thank you for doing such a great job cleaning up too.“

“The customer service during our drain clearing appointment was excellent. The plumber was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained our situation and where the clog was located and took care of clearing the pipe. The price was reasonable too and they did not charge a separate travel fee to come to your house. Before he left, the plumber ran water to make sure the line was cleared. It seems like an easy task, but we had spent the previous two days trying to fix it ourselves and just made a big mess of stinky water on the ground. Thank you Rooter Hero.“
