185 E Glenarm St #107, Pasadena“I have been going to Carina’s for 3 years now. My session is an hour and starts with 10 minutes of cardio, followed by core, then arms/legs etc. A few people come in every half hour and so there ends up being around 3-6 people working out at any given time. But she prescribes different exercises for each person based on your individual strength and needs. I started going here toward the end of the pandemic because she diligently wipes down all the machine after each person uses it. One of the best things about Carina’s is she creates a very friendly and social environment. It’s the reason I have been so consistent about my two times per week! Everyone enjoys talking to each other and I look forward to catching up with my new friends all the time! She offers sessions Mon/Wed evenings and most mornings.“

325 N Altadena Dr #100, Pasadena“I’m recovering from a complete Achilles rupture, and 1 Physical Therapy has completely changed my life. I was walking with a boot and crutches a week ago, and now I’m already back in shoes and walking without crutches. The facility is amazing, and the staff is very knowledgeable, kind, and beyond helpful.“

2620 E Walnut St, Pasadena“I am so glad I found Jason at Ripped Rose! I was really hopeful that I'd be working with someone who would put together a very customized plan for me to get into shape for an upcoming Tough Mudder event, and Jason did exactly that. He started by spending time determining where I was in terms of core strength, balance, health, etc. and put together an awesome plan to systematically start ramping me up to where I need to be. Plus he's super nice and funny! Highly recommend.“

117 W Bellevue Dr #4, Pasadena“I was referred to Haig for his reputation as a great chiropractor, and I discovered he also has extensive knowledge of fitness and training. His approach is highly intuitive--he can pinpoint exactly where my pain originates and then teaches me how to prevent it from returning. Working with him has made me much more aware of my muscles and movement. Now, I can feel my muscles working during workouts without experiencing pain afterward. Haig is exactly who I needed to take my workouts to the next level while effectively managing pain before it becomes a bigger issue.“
6AM - 9PM
155 W Green St, Pasadena“May son has been working out with Dan for 14 years now. He started when he was still in high school and Dan been his constant since then. Not only has Dan helped my son physically, but also with his mental support as well. Dan is understanding and patient. His encouragement and positive approach is a demonstration of how much Dan cares about his client. He is definitely one of a kind! I would recommend Elite Fitness as a 5 star place to train and work out.“
“Muv has wonderful personalized training that keeps me limber. As an 80 year old I need the structure and accountability. They treat you like family.“

2041 E Villa St Suite A, Pasadena“Dr. Braun is an amazing chiropractor and physical therapist. His treatments are specifically designed for each patient and not just a one size fits all approach to your condition. Adjustments are targeted and leave me better able to exercise with an improved range of motion and duration. Highest recommendation.“
“Long overdue review. I went to see Johnny several years ago after suffering with tennis elbow for about a year. Johnny fixed it. Permanently. It's been about 8 years now, and it hasn't come back. He also took me and my wife through a solid foundation of stretching and strength foundational excercises. The dude is super knowledgeable, super nice, and really good at what he does. Thinking of going in soon for a back tune-up, after months quarantine sitting.“

326 S Lake Ave, Pasadena“Barry’s is my favorite place! It is the best and most challenging workout, with the nicest amenities and instructors. Always look forward to Matt’s and Erik’s classes. You can always count on them kicking your butt but know that you’ll feel like a million bucks afterwards! The facilities are always spotless with the modern showers, bougie products (Ouai shower products), bobby pins, hair ties- you name it! Highly recommend!“
7AM - 7PM
801 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena“This place is great and the therapy is really helping, but it does feel like there is a lack of respect for the patients time at times. Sometimes I spend up to 20 minutes a session waiting for heat, ice, or the planned circuit for the day (which could be planned out before I even show up). I definitely recommend this place, especially if you have an athletic background, I just wish my sessions were more streamlined.“
5AM - 11PM
355 N Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena“From start to finish, LA fitness makes for a great gym experience. Plenty of parking and wonderful staff to greet you and work with you on any membership related concerns. Outstanding customer service and very clean facility. Plenty of equipment for cardio, no waiting needed and good amount of space for weights. My only wish was more foam rollers/mats for warmups/cool downs.“

“I am older. I have injuries. I mostly want to do things I enjoy. Strength training was not on my list, until now. I look forward to my weekly visits to The Strength Shop. The trainers I have worked with all paid close attention to my alignment, my abilities and are both respectful and kind. The administration and business model are terrific, with almost no turnaround time when a response is required. I truly love this place, an added bonus is the perfectly comfortable and clean .environment“
