Jennifer has transformed my perception of weight training from something intimidating to an empowering journey, particularly with functional strength training. Her profound knowledge in fitness, coupled with her patient and empathetic approach, has not only built my confidence but also guided me towards achieving my fitness goals. Beyond workouts, her nutritional guidance has been invaluable, making a holistic difference in my life. Massage: I have had the pleasure of receiving massages from both Lorna and Bejon. Both are very professional and experts in their craft. As a runner and a cyclist, I appreciate a good massage as a part of my recovery and ongoing body maintenance routine. While they are different in styles, they will both get you back to feeling your best. Jennifer has done a great job of finding two excellent masseuse's. Lorna: While I am sure she could do any style of massage that is requested of her, I always request a deep tissue sports massage. Lorna provides an excellent massage and is able to get down deep into the tissue and get rid of any knots that are there. I always feel very relaxed and loose after the session. Lorna provides an excellent traditional deep tissue massage. Bejon: He is a running coach and is very familiar with the needs of athletes. He practices a unique no-pain style. His massage feels very much like a Swedish style relaxation massage, but when he finds a knot or spasm, he is able to get it to release in a very gentle way. I have had countless massages over the years and I have never experienced anything quite like it. If you don't like a traditional deep tissue massage and the soreness that occurs the next day or so, but need some therapy to help with your training, I would highly recommend Bejon.“

He absolutely knows how to push you right to the edge, but also knows when not to. If you're injured, run down, or just not 100%, he may throw a fist at you (kidding), adjust, and still find a way to keep you moving forward. You might complain mid-set. You might question your life choices during your workout. But you'll leave stronger, more confident, and weirdly excited to come back. Workouts are efficient, challenging, and goal-driven, and I've seen real progress since training with him. If you want someone who will keep you accountable while actually listening to your body, I highly recommend him.“

I have lost around 24 pounds, feel and look better, and have never been more focused on my health.I began working with Jeff on my fitness journey in October 2022. I did one-on-one training for the first 12 months and then transitioned to his group classes.Highlights:Workouts: Jeff incorporates warm-ups, speed and power exercises, cardio, and lifting. No session is the same, and you have the opportunity to learn new exercises or achieve a new PR on a deadlift.Personalization: Jeff personalizes your workout plan to meet your nutrition, fitness, and weight loss goals. As someone with health limitations, this was crucial for me. Due to my health and COVID, I stopped working out consistently and had gained nearly 30 pounds. Jeff’s knowledge of rehab and his emphasis on proper form and technique helped me establish a routine and learn barbell lifts I never thought I could do.Game Planning: It seems simple, but Jeff goes over your goals and progress at the start of every month. This is a helpful reset when you find yourself off track with your routine. It is also an opportunity to reflect and set new goals for the month.Schedule: For my one-on-one sessions, Jeff accommodated my work schedule and understood when I needed to cancel or reschedule a session. The facility is great - quiet, clean, and incredibly welcoming. I've only worked with one instructor - Taylor - and she has been absolutely amazing! I am so much stronger and feel so much better overall, and I have never left a session where my knee injuries were exacerbated (which did happen when I tried pilates elsewhere before finding this studio). I highly recommend Taylor and Bourne Pilates!!“

During covid I started lifting weights and found out that I really liked it. Of course I needed help with form and progression because I didn’t really know what I was doing. Soon after I saw a post from my friend recommending her gym. I was hesitant and nervous about joining another gym and not sticking with it. Well I can honestly say that Training By Tye is not like any other gym. Coach Tye is awesome and she really knows her stuff! She is a knowledgeable and experienced trainer that really puts in the work for you. All you have to do is show up and want to put in the effort to see results. The workouts are well planned to hit several major muscle groups per session / per week. They are challenging and fun. If you need modifications she always has you covered. The classes are small so you get personal attention. The other members are nice, welcoming and encouraging. There is no judgment, everyone is at a different place in their health and fitness journey and we cheer each other on to do our best. Tye covers all aspects of health and fitness, in class, through email and on various social media platforms. The workouts are different every month and you never get bored. I'm eating better and moving more than I was prior to joining. I have more energy and I sleep better. I’m less stressed and I know I am definitely stronger and leaner than I was a year ago. I look forward to my workouts and really enjoy going to the gym because Tye makes it fun and rewarding. If you are looking to get fit, lose weight, gain muscle, become more active, or just improve your overall health then I highly recommend TBT!!“
