“Century Roof and Solar did an outstanding job on our full roof replacement, and I recommend them without reservation. Tony Diaz, who owns the company along with his wife Elena, is the salesperson and is extremely knowledgeable. Elena runs the office and answers the phone herself, giving her personal, very capable touch from the first call.
On the job site, Pedro the foreman was outstanding — a hands-on leader who clearly took pride in getting things right. Brian communicated well, both with us and with the crew. Emilio was the do-everything guy, handling specialty work like solar panel removal/reinstallation and skylight removal/reinstallation to a very high standard, and the rest of the crew matched that same level of care. The team worked in some hot weather without cutting corners, and cleaned up thoroughly every single day — no stray nails or debris anywhere on a large roof perimeter.
There was a small miscommunication on-site that led to an unplanned upgrade with no formal change order in place. Tony stepped in and did the right thing, absorbing the cost rather than billing us for it — that says a lot about how this company operates.
My guess is Century is just a bit higher cost than competitors — I did get competitive bids from two other companies — but having one company handle solar, skylights, asphalt shingle, and PVC membrane work — all to this level of quality — was worth every penny. Highly recommend.”
