713- A Merchant St, Vacaville“I started taking classes here in March after struggling for months to try to get in shape with a new baby. I was too distracted to work out at home and too tired by the time my husband got home to go the gym. I needed a place where my baby could be right there next to me while I worked out as well as the accountability of group classes. When I found Mom Strong Studio, it felt like it was too good to be true! Rachel encouraged me to bring my baby to any and all classes and ensured me that the instructors would even give me modifications if I needed to baby wear during classes. For the most part, my baby and the other kids just entertain each other - running around, playing with all the toys, or even jumping in workouts with the moms. But on the days when my baby is cranky, Sarah and Cara make sure they give me exercises I can do while holding/wearing her. Even after just a couple months, I already notice huge changes in my fitness level. I'm so much stronger, my muscles are way more defined, and I actually have energy to play with my baby. The best thing, though, is that I have set time to get out of the house and be with other moms without any judgement. It's such a welcoming environment, and I am so grateful to Rachel and the instructors for creating this space in the community!“

She makes sure you are aligned correctly and that you are getting the most out of each workout. Learning to breathe correctly with the moves has been so rewarding thus far. Mat Pilates is no joke.The studio caters to small groups which I like. Plus Joyce offers semi private & group workouts.,Joyce has great patience’s! Highly recommended!“

“After searching high and low for someplace in the area that offers Group Fitness classes (Zumba in particular) I finally found Crunch. My review is primarily based on Zumba class so if you're not interested in that, you may want to skip this one. I hadn't done Zumba in years but I remember how much I enjoyed it and how it helped me to lose weight in the past. For me, it's important to do something I enjoy. That makes it easier to do consistently. From the first evening we came in, the Zumba classes have been a blast. They have several options. Right now there's Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, Friday evening and Saturday morning. I typically can't make the Tuesday one because I have to work but I made it once and it was fun. Every instructor has their own flair. I typically burn around 600 calories per class. Sometimes the class can get pretty full but there always room to get it done. Highly recommend coming here. Oh and the gym itself is nice too. Lots of equipment. It gets pretty crowded from what I can see. We use PF for our weight lifting and other cardio you. I like it here.“
