Today, I just happened to see Kevin doing a job at a local business, so I asked him if he had time to take a look at my system. In less than 30 minutes, he was at my house and fixed our A/C in no time! Kevin is extremely professional and knowledgeable about his trade. Our A/C now blows ice cold for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. I could not be happier. There is no other HVAC company I would call from now on. Absolutely 5 stars.“

“Rohland AC & Heating is that white whale of the AC/Heating world. You know there has to be an honest decent direct people who are going to get you going when you need them to, but you have never actually been able to meet them. Scott has helped us so many times when others would keep us waiting for days. He has prolonged the life of our system on more than a few occasions (especially when the heat is over 100F) in an honest and direct manner. He was honest when he told us we needed to get the system replaced and revamped and helped us get to a time when we could afford to get that done (financially and appropriately for the weather). He's a good guy who walks to the beat of his own drummer. An honest efficient and competent drummer. We hope he gets all the rewards he deserves. Those five star ratings are not a fluke.“

“A few days ago, July 1st, we had extremely hot weather. 97 degrees outside. We set our thermostat to 75 deg, but the house would not get any cooler than 88 degrees. Very, very warm inside our house, very difficult trying to sleep.Since our Lennox Air Conditioner is 45 years old, I thought, "Oh my God! We're probably going to have to buy a new A/C unit-$8,000 to $10,000. A lot of money."We've been customers of Custom Climate Control for about seven years and Dennis has serviced our A/C every year. Our unit has really worked well all these 45 years.We called Dennis; he came out the next day, ran a few tests and replaced two parts.He is very honest, knowledgeable, and he charged us a fair price.We strongly recommend Dennis, Owner of Custom Climate Control.Thank you, Dennis“
“Our ~5 years old Amana air conditioning unit went on the fritz lat night, wasn't blowing cold air and the unit (outside) was making a beeping noise. Called two places, the first didn't pick up so I left a voicemail. The 2nd place I called was Sylmar Services HVAC. They picked up, took my info and a technician called me a little while later, a little leas than an hour. The technician was able to come out about an hour after that. He did a great job identifying and, more importantly, showed and explained what was wrong. The capacitor (think an alternator on a car, controls the electricity flow) was no longer outputting the correct amount of watts which meant the compressor wasn't turning in. Less then an hour later he was done for a cost of $185. Highly recommend. Will def. be calling them again for any future AC / heating issues I experience.“

“90+ degrees in the Valley and the air conditioner decides to die. I call Randy and he's out within 24 hours. In the meantime, I had another "Yelp 5 star" company come out and tell me that my unit is all but done for and a new unit would start at $4,800. They tell me I have a short, that even if they replace the part, it will just short out again. Panic sets in. Less than a day later, Randy comes out, takes one look at the burnt out part and gets to work. He replaces two different parts, checks the connections, the coolant level, cleans the entire unit, including rinsing and removing leaves and charges LESS than 10% of a new unit for everything. He tells me that with proper maintenance, my unit could last another 5+ years. The kind of craftsmanship and genuine know how is a lost art and I will never use anyone else. You can get quotes from other companies, however, you will not find someone more honest and someone who really knows their $#*% more than Randy. He's no nonsense, talks to himself to understand the problem, is a wee bit crusty (because he's been around the block) and treats people they way he would like to be treated. I cannot recommend him highly enough.“
