90+ degrees in the Valley and the air conditioner decides to die. I call Randy and he's out within 24 hours. In the meantime, I had another "Yelp 5 star" company come out and tell me that my unit is all but done for and a new unit would start at $4,800. They tell me I have a short, that even if they replace the part, it will just short out again. Panic sets in. Less than a day later, Randy comes out, takes one look at the burnt out part and gets to work. He replaces two different parts, checks the connections, the coolant level, cleans the entire unit, including rinsing and removing leaves and charges LESS than 10% of a new unit for everything.
