In the past I've always gotten glasses at the doctors office, but our insurance didn't cover that so we went to the Westlake Village Target Optical for my son's new glasses. Everyone who helped us was great. They are a nice, helpful and through. While I'm not a fan of paying for extra insurance I did this time, because they are for an active kid who wears them during PE. Well guess what, they broke and it was so easy and cheap to replace them. Excellent customer service, highly recommended.“

“"I can see clearly now...." No really, I can finally see clearly now! So here's the deal, and I'm being really serious here, I had been having an issue with my eyesight for a couple of years now. I had another eye doctor who was not treating my issue correctly. My eyes were constantly red, irritated and then my eyesight was blurred. So blurred that it has affected my every day life. I couldn't drive. I couldn't get any work done on my computer. It was awful. And then, the heavens opened up and I was introduced to Dr. Carrie Kubota and her incredible staff. From the moment I contacted their office, I could tell they really cared. They were able to squeeze me in as a first time patient. And when I left Dr. Carrie Kubota's office for the first time, I cried. She immediately saw the issue..... turns out I have three major issues. The doctor decided to tackle the first part, which is the severity of the blurry eyes and the irritation. As I write this review, I'm still in the process of correcting the irritation and the blurriness. Turns out the blurriness is caused from extreme dry eyes. She has a great solution for my dry eyes. And I should be able to start those treatments soon. The last issue, I simply need glasses. I have already recommended Dr. Carrie Kubota to many friends and colleagues. I am confident that you will love her as much as I love her. Simply stated Dr. Carrie Kubota cares deeply about her patients. And now, drum roll please, "I can see clearly now...."“

“I recently managed to partially sit on my glasses. Not enough to break them, but I popped a lens out. I popped it back in. but it wasn't exactly right. I'd seen good Yelp reviews for these guys, so I went in and explained what happened and asked if they could get it in better. I'm going to get new glasses, but not for a while, so these have to last me a while, and then I plan to use these for backups. They were very nice, and fixed it so that lens won't go anywhere. I took one of their cards and they're first on my list when it comes to getting a new pair.“

The service was good but I wanted to add anti-glare I was quoted $120 for that then when I went to close the order the optometrist said he needed an additional $160 for that feature so the quote went from $120 to $280 just for anti-glare
I could go to America's Best for that kind of features for less money“

“Discount Optical has had a face lift! When I was there for my eye exam I was happily surprised to find that they now have several O.D and a few M.Ds They took my insurance too! After my exam with brand new medical equipment in the redone office, I felt secure that my sight was now in good hands! Then I went over to the Optical Shop to pick out frames, the woman was really helpful, in finding me a frame that not only looked great on me, but fit my RX. To help hide the thick sides. My glasses came in about 8 days later and they fitted to face. I got a box with a cloth and instructions on how to care for them. I was so impressed I also bought a fun pair of RX sunglasses! This is a great place for inexpensive designer frames and lenses. I'm looking forwards to my next eye exam.“

I got seen within a few minutes of my scheduled appointment. I was bring my glasses Rx To be filled and wanted new daily glasses in addition to be fitted for Pair Eyewear. Cathy assisted me and was very professional and patient all my questions. She assisted me with my insurance as well as explain the discounts offered to maximize my coverage. Keeley was an Optician that also assisted me and was very friendly and reviewed with me my order to confirm it was accurate.
