“I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting Dr. Silani’s probing procedure to be very helpful because I’m used to it being a very painful procedure (I’ve had it done three times before with other doctors (who are world renowned) and it was extremely painful each time) and it happened to be quite painless this time. But it’s been a month since the probing and I’m feeling better than I did before the procedure. I think he must have a superior pain control protocol. “I had such a great experience at Gold Optometry! I came in to get new glasses and was examined by Dr. Michelle Kim, and she was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly detailed, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire exam. I’ve been to several optometrists before, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. She was very patient and understanding about my concerns and my complicated vision needs.

My previous glasses were made at Target Optical, and they were so uncomfortable that my eyes constantly felt tired and strained. The gentleman who helped me with my glasses fitting and insurance was also extremely professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to all my concerns.

They give great care and patient service, and always have the latest and greatest technology in the office. Over the course of 50 years, Dr. C has discovered vision issues among our family early on so that they could be taken care of before they be became major issues. Near UCLA to boot.“

“Dr. Newman was referred to us by my son’s ophthalmologist for vision therapy last summer. She is amazing. She does testing and therapy I have never seen another optometrist or ophthalmologist do. Everything is evidence-based and she tracked his progress with periodic testing and outcome reports.

The difference has been night and day for my son. He has gone from struggling academically to excelling in the classroom. He was a kid who hated reading because it was so difficult to see the words on the page, and now he is an avid reader. Additionally, he is excelling at sports.

Dr. Newman formed a real bond with my son and he always looked forward to going to therapy. She is one of a kind and her staff is excellent as well. I can’t thank them all enough for my son’s life-changing transformation.“

I'd seen good Yelp reviews for these guys, so I went in and explained what happened and asked if they could get it in better. I'm going to get new glasses, but not for a while, so these have to last me a while, and then I plan to use these for backups. They were very nice, and fixed it so that lens won't go anywhere. I took one of their cards and they're first on my list when it comes to getting a new pair.“
