“This is the first time I've ever paid for dog training in my life. All my other dogs I trained myself, but now I can't devote the time.

I adopted a new dog from the pound, and immediately it was clear she needed training. She was hindering my sales calls and I needed to have her taken away and trained ASAP. I searched around for someone who could take her that day.

I found Delta K9 and on a Sunday met with the owner and head trainer Mike. He assessed Kira, said they would be able to take her that day, and they would work primarily on leash work, and general commands like sit, stay, place, and heel.

I paid them $5k and they said it would take 3-4 weeks. Kira ended up needing a little longer and they had her for a total of 5.5 weeks and didn't charge me any additional money.

They sent me weekly video updates on her progress. Andy, her trainer, and I just had the first of our 3 integration trainings. You need to go spend time with them in person 3 times before you take your dog home so they can train you on what they trained them. Andy also said he would be able to meet me in my home for the 3rd and final integration session so he can introduce her to my cats. He didn't have to offer that and I am very impressed. With the quality of service I have received. We lived near each other and so I wouldn’t assume this is standard. But if you’re cool with the trainers they may for you.

The front desk women Marium and Adel have been extremely helpful whenever I have a question and are very responsive. During business hours I usually received a reply within 2 hours.

I would highly recommend you to have your dog trained here. I'm going to return in a month or so, so that they can do e-collar training.

Be aware that if paying by card there is a 4% surcharge that goes to pay for their credit card processing. I don't know if they accept checks but they do Venmo and other cash payments like that.“

“We have two chihuahua mix rescues who have both benefited greatly from their training with Alexandra. One of our dogs was reactive, and its now much easier to bring him on walks as well as have visitors to our home. The other was quite skittish which made training on our own tricky. Alexandra really helped us navigate his needs and build up his confidence. Both of our dogs are more confident and much better citizens since they started training. Also, while we originally did training in person and weren't quite sure how well virtual training would go, Alexandra navigates Zoom training remarkably and we don't feel like we're losing anything from not having in-person sessions.“

“I’ve tried several other trainers before for behavior training and they all focused on obedience which helped but didn't solve the problem. My dog, Jaxon was still reactive and lunging. I hired Marth and it was different because the first thing he focused on was teaching me everything I needed to know about Jaxon’s behavior and I how can make changes at home and everyday life and things improved dramatically and now I can walk Jaxon off leash and he ignores everyone around us and stays focused on me. I would definitely recommend him for all of your training issues with your doggy’s. His prices are fair and a huge plus with the social classes he offers.“

“I have 2 dogs that have been in training with CaliK9 trainer Devin for the last 2.5 months. We still have a lot of work to go, but the tools and guidance we have been provided have shown day and night difference in some of the things I was struggling with. My dogs are middle aged, stubborn working breeds so they have some long standing bad habits that’s going to take work to unlearn. “We’ve been bringing our pup to K9 Loft for three years. The gals who run the front desk are the best (shout out Ash and Jaz!), they’re so welcoming and truly love the dogs. They usually call out her name right when she walks in the door and she’s so happy to see them too. They also do really cute crafts during the holidays with your dog, which is always something we love to see!

We love the text updates with photos, and also get her groomed here. She doesn’t need a lot of shaping with her hair, but the nail clipping, teeth brushing, and gland expression are such a great service. We love this place!“
