“There was a gas leak at my daughter's house, so the gas company had to turn off the gas until it had been located and repaired. I googled for plumbers that could provide this service. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN plumbing came up first. Before calling their number, I looked on the BBB site. There were no complaints filed, and they are accredited with the BBB+, so I called. They responded quickly, and someone came out right away. After discussing the situation with them, I decided to proceed with them doing the repair. The work was completed within a few hours, which I am very happy about since there are children living here also. I'm grateful to both the technician and his "field manager" for their time and patience they took with me. Neither of them left me feeling like I was a bother when I kept asking questions regarding the work being done. I don't know how their prices compare to anyone else because I didn't seek a 2nd opinion. All I know is it was affordable for me to cover with my credit card. I was afraid it would be significantly more involved and costly. If they had been the case, I was going to just give up and sell the house. I'm glad it didn't come to that . I'm in my 60s, and this was my grandmother's house, so I do have SOME degree of attachment to it. “Davidson’s is an awesome company to work with. They repaired our old inefficient A/C unit until we decided we needed to replace & upgrade. That was 7 years ago, we have no complaints and Davidson’s quote was several thousand less than the company that also quoted us (through Costco).
My father recently (June 2024) replaced his AC -a rooftop unit that required a crane for installation. He also paid several thousand less than a very well regarded AC company that also made a bid on the work.Three of my friends have replaced their units using Davidson’s also.
