1605 Solano Ave, Berkeley“The customer service I received from Rhianna when booking my appointment was top notch! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the spa and my massage with Barbara was relaxing! I would not classify the massage as deep tissue as requested, it was more of a Swedish massage. Enjoyable nonetheless! I would definitely come back to try the other services and offerings from the estheticians, Ayurvedic specialists and masseuses. I also would be interested to try the acupuncture! Parking on the street nearby was easy, it was 2 hour parking only and I got to my car right before the 2 mark and was already given a ticket which was a bummer but had nothing to do with the spa just something to be aware of!“

809 Hearst Ave, Berkeley“I've been seeing Marny Culpepper for the past few months as I started fertility treatments. She is so warm and knowledgeable on the benefits of acupuncture for fertility and pregnancy. With her help, I was able to conceive on my first round of fertility treatments! She also helped me manage my neck pains during the first trimester with acupuncture, gua sha, and stretches. I would highly recommend Marny for anyone who is on their fertility and/or pregnancy journey. She truly cares for each of her patients.“

264 Arlington Ave, Berkeley“I was dealing with digestive issues and worsening PMS for awhile, a long long while. Disappointed with how doctor appointments would go, I was searching for alternative methods of wellness/healthcare for real changes. I had a little experience with Chinese medicine as a kid so when I came across Ivy’s social media through an acquaintance, who mentioned how transformative her sessions with Ivy were, I felt that I needed to try acupuncture. Finally, I worked up the courage (very scared of needles here) to make my first appointment a few years ago. I don’t say this lightly when I say going to Luminae and being treated/healed through Ivy has been life changing - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect as I’ve never had acupuncture treatment before. Not only was I was pleasantly surprised/relieved that after 1 month of treatments I had zero PMS, it has been incredibly enriching.
Going to Luminae is special and Ivy curates your sessions with so much care and intuition. I’ve learned so much from her and recommended her to many friends and family!“

1738 Solano Ave, Berkeley“There are so many acupuncture practices in the area that it can be overwhelming which one to choose. I am writing this review to share what an absolute gem Mitchell Family acupuncture is. I’ve worked with almost all of the acupuncturists there and everyone is just amazing. Throughout my preconception phase, I was working with Alison, who I attribute a healthy and successful natural pregnancy to. Our weekly sessions and her expert knowledge about herbs and other holistic healing modalities restored my hormonal balance. I can’t thank her enough for that. Throughout pregnancy, I mostly saw Britt, who’s been so gentle and kind, exactly what I needed during that time. When it was time for my baby to come and I was in prodromal labor for a few days, one session with Britt was what it took to get things going and I welcomed my daughter 24 hours later. I am so glad that I found this practice and I will keep coming for my general wellbeing. Thank you to everyone at Mitchell!“

2806 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley“I just moved to Oakland and was in search of a new acupuncturist. My previous acupuncturist I had been seeing for 5+ years and I was hopefully I would find someone as good. I have succeeded! John Luna is very thorough and skilled. I have seen much improvement over the past several weeks. I respect his bedside manner and his willingness to pay close attention to my body. 10/10! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.“

2615 Ashby Ave Second Floor, Berkeley“Juliana is truly exceptional. She welcomes me warmly each time and creates a space where I can land, slow down, and get to the heart of what’s present. She listens deeply, reflects with empathy and wisdom, and her responses feel thoughtful and grounded.
Her acupuncture is precise and gentle, and her somatic treatments are both unique and highly effective. I have seen benefits ranging from back pain improvement to relationship boosting! I also appreciate how she weaves in spirituality in a respectful, supportive way — and gives me practices to continue the work between sessions.
I feel deeply met and held in her care. I highly recommend Juliana to anyone looking for healing that is holistic, skillful, and heart-centered.

2228 Sixth St, Berkeley“I've received traditional acupuncture sessions for 50+ years from a variety of acupuncture providers in Bay Area, and at last and none too soon, I discovered this superb and experienced acupuncturist! Her office is comfortable, clean and professional, scheduling with a receptionist in the office. Nancy herself is older and wiser than other acupuncturists-she just knows where to put needles after understanding what you need/want in a brief q and a health conversation. She "gets it" and gets to work! My primary reason for this review of Nancy's practice is Nancy-non-judgmental, very caring and experienced, she listens, providing the best possible outcome of presented issues. Also, she doesn't try to sell you herbs, teas, treatments that so many less experienced try to include. Just the basics with compassion, simply and powerfully, reasonably priced.“

1911 Addison St Suite 102, Berkeley“Abigail is a genius, a gifted healer, an encyclopedia of nutrition, Chinese medicine, and overall health. She listens carefully and with empathy, then uses her vast knowledge and next-level intuition to treat you and design a program for you if you want one. She refreshes and deepens her knowledge by digging in to your specific issue, often finding new resources to send you after your visit. She never gives up, no matter how elusive or mysterious your challenges.
I came to Abigail because I was so run down and my immune system was reacting all fall and winter long, every year. I had blood sugar and adrenal issues. I was exhausted.
I'm amazed to say I now don't get sick any more often than the average person. I generally sleep well and most of my blood sugar issues are gone. I no longer take adrenal supplements. And my energy is back.
Abigail also greatly reduced my (very) long Covid symptoms through acupuncture and nutritional changes.
She also helps me in the more traditional ways with pain relief when I have an injury or my chronic new problems are hurting me.
I would not have thought it possible that a practitioner of any kind could help me with my mystery problems. But Abigail is very very special. I can't recommend her highly enough.“

1229 Solano Ave, Albany“I've had a truly positive experience going to community acupuncture with Michelle L. at the Berkeley Acupuncture Project. From the start, the process has been smooth and accessible — the online appointment scheduling is super easy to use, and there's always convenient parking nearby, which takes a lot of stress out of getting there. The sliding scale pricing makes it very affordable, and I've felt real relief from the treatments. Michelle has a calm, thoughtful presence, and I always leave feeling more balanced, relaxed, and supported in my health. Highly recommend!“

2615 Ashby Ave, Berkeley“I started seeing Claudia at Venn Acupuncture three years ago for acupuncture to help with perimenopause symptoms. Talking to your doctor about all the changes that happen as you near 50 sometimes feels like screaming into a void. That's not the case with Claudia. She listens, educates you about how your hormone levels are changing, and treats the different issues as they arise. Even if I come in with vague ideas of just not feeling right, Claudia is able to tune into what's actually going on with my body and help me to name the issue so we can address it. Claudia has been especially helpful in treating my migraines/headaches, anxiety, insomnia and fatigue with herbs and acupuncture treatments. If it weren't for Claudia's support at this stage of my life, I know I would be really struggling and frustrated with adapting to the changes of perimenopause.“

2107 Channing Way, Berkeley“I am a 66 year old man with osteoarthritis pain and other chronic health issues. I was with Kaiser for over 25 years and recently switched to Dr. Anas Hana's office more by coincidence.
Man!!! what a difference.
During out initial conversation and review of my health history I could tell that he actually red and knew a lot about what was in my Kaiser chart.
We established a routine that includes acupuncture, which he administers himself.
His entire approach and execution of the treatments are pure magic.
I call him a magician.
It is amazing how much more energy I have and how my pain is manageable within 5 sessions of his treatment, which is holistic, as in so much more than just acupuncture or just western medicine chart review.
He is a true healer for me and I hope that his practice is doing well for many years to come.“

“OMG — I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Mandy and Kaizen Chiropractic highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the office felt so warm and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Mandy? She’s absolutely amazing — knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring.
Even during just the initial consultation, I felt such a shift. Dr. Mandy’s approach was exactly what I needed — she asked all the right questions, then took the time to dig deeper to really understand what’s going on. I also loved how educational the entire experience was! I walked away with a better understanding of why I’m feeling the way I am, and more importantly, how I can start helping myself at home.
She even gave me three simple “homework” assignments to help me figure out what’s working for me — and what might not be. I’m SO grateful to have been referred to Dr. Mandy and the amazing team at Kaizen. THANK YOU!“
