“Renee is a skilled and compassionate practitioner who effectively relieved years of chronic pain that resulted from overuse injuries. My job requires backpacking long distances with heavy packs and I am moving through this field season pain-free for the first time in years!!! I feel so lucky to have found Ross Acupuncture and would recommended the treatments offered to anyone who is healing from an injury or working to manage and relieve chronic pain.“

Natural Healing Ways Acupuncture

“I’ve been seeing Claudia for years now, and I consistently feel better after every single session. That kind of reliability is rare, and it’s one of the main reasons I continue to go back.

Each treatment leaves me feeling more balanced, relaxed, and physically improved. She truly listens and tailors each session to exactly what I need at the time. I also really appreciate how accommodating she is — she always does her best to fit me into her schedule, which makes it so much easier to stay consistent with treatments.

I’m incredibly grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for lasting results and a practitioner who genuinely prioritizes her patients.“

Sarana Community Acupuncture Acupuncture

“This is an oasis and sanctuary. The kindest people run this place as a beautiful service to those who need it. When I lived in El Cerrito I came often. As a self-employed magician, I'm always on the go and it becomes really hard to stop. Sarana granted me the permission to stop, refuel and warm my heart. This is a group context, which keeps the rates affordable. I remain grateful to Sarana and all the angels there!“

Venn Acupuncture Acupuncture

“I started seeing Claudia at Venn Acupuncture three years ago for acupuncture to help with perimenopause symptoms. Talking to your doctor about all the changes that happen as you near 50 sometimes feels like screaming into a void. That's not the case with Claudia. She listens, educates you about how your hormone levels are changing, and treats the different issues as they arise. Even if I come in with vague ideas of just not feeling right, Claudia is able to tune into what's actually going on with my body and help me to name the issue so we can address it. Claudia has been especially helpful in treating my migraines/headaches, anxiety, insomnia and fatigue with herbs and acupuncture treatments. If it weren't for Claudia's support at this stage of my life, I know I would be really struggling and frustrated with adapting to the changes of perimenopause.“

“Five stars isn't enough to describe how supportive and effective Maki's presence as an acupuncturist and health care advocate has been in my life. I started seeing her for chronic pain, sleep, and GI issues, but she's helped me with so much more.

Maki's approach is grounded in a deep knowledge of acupuncture, particularly Japanese-style techniques, and herbs. Her knowledge of orthopedics has been incredibly helpful for my pain, and she always has helpful recommendations for care outside of her office.
I've seen so much improvement and I'm incredibly grateful to her.

Not only is she super at what she does, she's a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth person who I look forward to seeing each week. And she's hilarious! That personal connection has made my treatment all the more effective. Go see her!“

“Melissa not only is a talented and intuitive acupuncturist but she is also an excellent listener and spends a generous amount of time prior to treatment listening for what is needed in that session. She has helped me tremendously with anxiety, ptsd, digestive issues, and overall balancing of my chi. She's a lovely, warm practitioner and i highly recommend her!“

“Rachel Alkire -- what a gem!! She is one of the most genuine, caring, generous, and thoughtful practitioners I have come across in the medical/healing space. At 38 weeks pregnant I had an acute/urgent issue and even though I hadn't seen her for an appointment in many months, she immediately responded to my message with a phone call and provided a wealth of sage knowledge and advice. Both her kindness and her holistic medical wisdom shine through when you interact with her. Highly recommend.“

Golden Leaf Acupuncture, INC Acupuncture

“I’ve now had two visits at Golden Leaf Acupuncture in Albany, and I felt like I needed to share my experience because it has honestly made a difference for me.

I suffer from chronic back pain related to injuries from my military service. Pain has been something I live with daily. I’ve tried different things over the years to manage it, and while some help short term, nothing really addressed the bigger picture. I’ll admit, before coming here, I didn’t think much about acupuncture. I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after just two visits, I can confidently say it has helped ease my pain and, more importantly, helped me manage it better.

The practitioner providing care has been extremely kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. You can tell she knows what she’s doing. She takes the time to listen, explain possible causes of my pain, and offer practical self-care advice I can use at home. That guidance alone has been incredibly valuable. I walk away not just feeling physically better, but more informed and empowered about how to take care of myself.

The office itself is calm and comfortable once you’re inside. The waiting area feels relaxing and welcoming. Parking can be a little challenging — I’ve had to park a block or two away and walk — and there isn’t much identifying signage outside yet, so it may still be a newer location. But don’t let that discourage you. Once you step inside, you’ll feel at ease.

The staff truly make you feel at home. Each visit has been positive, and I genuinely look forward to going back. If you’re dealing with chronic pain, back issues, or just looking for thoughtful, knowledgeable care, I would absolutely recommend giving Golden Leaf Acupuncture a try. It has helped me more than I expected, and I’m grateful I found it.“
