Short version: coming here truly helped me to heal from an ankle injury. I highly recommend John Luna-Sparks for any help with pain! His caring attitude combined with his extensive knowledge make him an amazing provider.Longer version: I had an ankle injury, with damage to various tendons and ligaments, keeping me not only from walking as much as I’d like but also from driving.My regular doctor did a quick video visit with me and then gave me some generic exercises to do.My friend, an ER nurse, recommended John for sports medicine acupuncture. I can't say enough good things about the care I'm receiving from John Luna-Sparks at White Magnolia. We've been working on my swollen and painful left knee as well as a left shoulder that wants to stay raised. John is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner who listens very well and educates as he goes. His advanced training in sports and orthopedic acupuncture has been very helpful in targeting needle placement and his overall approach to my issues. As a result, my knee is much improved and my shoulder is getting there. John's also crafted a home program for me to support my shoulder health while I'm out of the Bay Area.
