“I have been going to Shirliey for almost two years now through so many phases of infertility, IVF, miscarriage, and now pregnancy! She has been one of the only constant practitioners I have seen throughout the process and she is truly a gifted and essential godsend. In addition to helping me to (finally) achieve pregnancy, she has also helped to balance my spirit and body as a whole as I've navigated this super stressful time. I've done both weekly acupuncture and Maya massage her based on different things going on with infertility treatments, diagnosis, and more. She is incredibly knowledgable in both and how to use both in tandem to heal. She is a great listener and a wealth of knowledge beyond just acupuncture, providing dietary and at-home healing techniques for everything from bloating and stress to indigestion and allergies. I love talking with her every week to debrief how things are going, and also appreciate her practical and direct but caring communication style. “Blue Sky Acupuncture is a gem of a place. Very clean and cozy, with a great atmosphere and décor. But, the best part is the quality of the service. I have a stiff neck and tight lower back. I also have ulnar nerve neuropathy. So, I recently started getting acupuncture to help with the tight muscles. I get a treatment every week, and I often combine it with cupping or gua sha, which is scraping with a copper tool to increase blood flow and break up adhesions. No matter what treatment I get, I always feel great afterwards. Victoria is so good at what she does. Not only that, but she is warm, kind, and dedicated to making her patients feel better. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you get the absolute treatment possible. I feel very lucky and thankful I discovered this gem of a place!!“

“I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time but, with a new baby time got away from me. I went through fertility testing and they recommended IUI then IVF. But I wanted to try something else before going that route. I had never tried acupuncture before in my life.I spent 2.5 months with Dr. Kao after trying to conceive for over a year and was able to conceive on our first full cycle with herbs and acupuncture. I remember the time I received acupuncture from right before I conceived and the needles were humming/vibrating and one even snapped while it was in me! That’s when I felt something had changed…I became pregnant on or around my 36th birthday (3-5 days after “that” session) and we welcomed our son in December. My winter solstice baby. He is a very calm, curious, and happy baby. He has brought overwhelming joy to myself and my family, and I wanted to thank Dr. Kao for helping me to relax and believe that I could conceive. “I am forever grateful that a flyer brought me to Wanda and Kokoro Clinic.I was experiencing numbness in my foot due to an old car accident injury, was given a flyer for Kokoro Clinic, and called Wanda for community acupuncture. The thing I liked about my initial phone call was that Wanda directed me towards another community acupuncture clinic (as she had stopped offering the service) and did not press me to come see her. “I would like to thank Dr. Abby and her team from front desk to everyone in the back. Bare with me as I write this long post.. My mom was having sciatic nerve pain on one of her legs and could not walk for the past 7 to 8 months. Her primary doctor referred her to physical therapy and it was impossible for her to do the exercises given with the pain she had. A friend recommended why not try seeing a chiropractor and so we went to one it was our first time seeing a chiropractor so we didn’t know what to expect, after the first visit which was diagnosing the issue they said we should come in for 28 sessions and pay in advance to get a discount! I mean we still didn’t know if it would help my mom so paying the full amount didn’t make sense. We started the sessions and each session was not more than 10-15 minutes for the adjustments ! When the sessions didn’t help , my mom thought that there is no hope anymore.. I then asked neighbors for someone they know and several recommended Dr. Abby , and I thank God they did. When I called and left a message she called me back after work and we talked for a long time , she listened , she cared , she wanted to help. She is knowledgeable and experienced and gives advices that help. Her and her team were so helpful they went above and beyond. When my mom came in walking after several sessions you could see the joy on their faces. Our family appreciates them all.. May God bless them and grant them goodness always.“
