“An HVAC tech checked out my house and found ducts wrapped in asbestos. The ducts were damaged and exposed and the tech told me I had to remove them before work can be done. (Asbestos is banned and causes lung cancer) Reached out to Andrew contractors and Frank had the most rates. His crew was professional and helpful. Best thing I like about Frank is that he reached out and offer me home improvement advice even at no gain to himself. Through him I found a good HVAC contractor who was very responsive and and did a great job working on my home. I highly recommend going with Frank as he seems to pride himself in taking care of his customers.“

“This is long overdue! Or, Navaz, Juan, and their did a phenomenal job remodeling the entire inside of our home. We did a full kitchen and bathrooms gut/remodel, restructured the flow of the back half of our home, added a laundry closet, and redid the bedroom closets to be more efficient. Navaz was our main point of contact and he was very attentive, ensuring that we were well informed along the way. They were able to stay (mostly) on time and budget, even with some unexpected updates that were necessary due to age of the building.The quality of installation for our cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, or flooring were excellent. “The entire AGC team is incredible. My wife and I did a full gut remodel/rebuild on a 1912 house in San Francisco. We took the entire house down to the studs and then moved and replaced all the studs. To say we were terrified is a complete understatement. We talked to several GC's, and were referred to Aaron Gordon by our architect. He stood out from the start, and there was really no question who we'd go with after meeting with him and running through his process. He broke down and explained every aspect of the project, and priced out the entire thing in advance. And this wasn't a rough ballpark quote like you get from most GCs, it was down to every detail. We were always in the loop on every aspect of the project. We had bi-weekly onsite check ins, and they provided weekly summaries of work completed and what was on the schedule for the coming week. We were never in the dark.Most importantly, I am happy to say now that the project is over, there were no surprises, and they finished on time and on budget (slightly below actually). That's quite an accomplishment considering the scope of work involved. Their quality is top notch, and the entire team is 100% professional. Not to mention they are just genuinely really good people. They would repeatedly go above and beyond what's expected. Just as one example (to which there are many), right when we moved in we tried to start garbage service through Recology and have bins sent to our house. Unfortunately Recology was hacked and their systems were down for weeks. We had nowhere to put our garbage, so the AGC team swung by several weeks in a row to literally pick up our personal garbage, just as a courtesy until we finally got bins sent to us. I could rattle off countless examples, but I just wanted to highlight the level of service they provide. I was flat out impressed at how they conducted themselves both professionally and personally.This whole thing could have been so stressful, but the team ensured it never got to that point. I dare say it was even enjoyable. It was amazing to watch our home transform knowing it was in good hands. I have zero hesitation recommending them to anyone starting a new project. They are as good as it gets, and they will be our go to for all our future needs. So happy we were referred to AGC.“

I called Hearth and Home and Scott helped me determine the most likely cause over the phone...the receiver, which needs to be replaced every 7 years on average. I came into the store and he showed me how to remove it and change it out with a new one myself, saving me an expensive service visit. I successfully changed it out and it's working perfectly again. I have had numerous bad experiences with other contractors but anytime I have worked with El, I have been very pleased.The first project was almost a complete gut job of our first floor. We had structural walls removed, new posts installed down to the foundation, the ceiling raised 2 feet, all new electrical, all new plumbing, a new floor, new bathroom and a giant beam to hold up our second story. They also added a huge deck in the backyard and sliding glass doors off the backroom. The quality was top notch and the crew was respectful and always cleaned up after themselves.I asked El back to install an 8 foot fireplace into a new bump out that required super intricate tile work. The fireplace is a stunner and the manufacturer wants to feature a picture of it on their website. His tile guy (Ronaldo?) is unbelievable. “Arthur and his team have an eye for design and are as professional as it gets. Back in February 2020, our patio awning blew straight off in one of those crazy Bay Area storms and was ripped from our house. We put repairs on the back burner, and when shelter in place orders were mandated, we decided it was time to finally look into our project. After a quick consult, Arthur recommended a couple of options: either we put the same sheet metal awning back on, or he could build us a wooden trellis. I chose to go with the wooden trellis, and figured now would also be a good time to put in the deck we had been talking about building for years since we had first moved in. Arthur's team - Tony (foreman) and his sons - got to work right away as soon as we reviewed the scope of work and went over a few design ideas. The before and after are phenomenal, as you can see in the photographs. We had a couple changes in design right in the middle, but in the end, I'm blown away by the overall look of how it is now than how it would've looked originally. Arthur and his team were very responsive to our questions and our requests, and his crew were very respectful and professional about their work. We have some other home projects we've identified that we'd like to do in the future, and we will for sure be choosing Hutton Construction for their help in these projects.“
