“Traci is the best acupuncturist I've worked with (I've seen six different acupuncturists over the years). She is knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. I appreciate how she takes the time to really investigate and understand what is going on with you and determine the best treatment. I've been seeing her to treat persistent frozen shoulder and have gotten significant improvement.“

“I am afraid of doctors, so finding a pediatrician for my kids (elementary-school age and newborn) was an exceptionally daunting task. I could not be happier with the care they receive from Berkeley Pediatrics. Every staff member is an extremely competent, huge hearted person that goes above and beyond for their patients. Special shoutout to Dr. AnneMarie Franks, whose gentle humor and wealth of knowledge make her nothing short of a hero in my eyes. Every time one of my kids are sick, they are seen right away and shown a ton of compassion. I'm sure I come off as cold or rude at times due to my fears, and my family still receives nothing but respect and empathy in return. I am extremely grateful to have found them. Berkeley Pediatrics is top-notch!“

“I honestly cannot understand the bad reviews of this office. We are first time parents and both the office staff and the doctors have been incredible. Dr. Gerwein is our son's primary but we were also seen by Dr. Brinkley when she was rounding at the hospital. Both doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to even the slightest concern. We have never had any trouble getting an appt., even a couple last minute ones, and, to top it all off, their office has an INCREDIBLE lactation consultant, Amrit Khalsa (48 years of experience, including as a midwife) and they moved heaven and earth to make sure we were seen by her when we were struggling with breastfeeding. And she is covered by our insurance with only a $37 copay! Kudos to this practice for providing access to 360 degree, holistic care (they are only 1 of 3 practices in all of the East Bay that employ a lactation consultant). We feel so lucky we found this team!“

“We love this practice and Dr. Farlow! Dr. Farlow goes above and beyond to help us navigate being new parents. She helps us understand our options, benefits and any risks, and her recommendations. We like that she integrates well studied, new research findings into her advice. The support staff is kind, excellent and efficient. Highly recommend this practice and while we haven't seen another doctor yet, we've heard of many others that are happy with every doctor in the practice.“

“We've been at EBP since we moved to the east bay from the city 13 years ago and have had a great experience there. Started with Dr. Charles-Mo and loved her. Since she retired, we've been with Dr. Handelsman, who has been awesome. All the doctors we've seen have been nice, attentive, and responsive to medical needs, even to more urgent ones.“

“DR. CELESTE ALLEN is God's Angel! Truly & honestly. My kids have been seeing Dr. Allen for over 10+ years. She is attentive, caring, and truly an amazing person. They started seeing Dr. Allen when we lived in Oakland. We moved to Hercules & then Pittsburg and I still drive 30-45 minutes so they can see her. She is that good. My oldest daughter is now 23 and still sees Dr. Allen. She dreads turning 25 because she will not be able to continue as her patient. I have been holding off on writing this review because I really didn't want to share Dr. Allen but I'm realizing that others need her as well. DR. CELESTE ALLEN IS THE BEST!“

“Today was my first visit with Dr. Morando at Pleasant Hill location. Before I was a patient of Dr. Stephen Weinstein, who recently retired. Therefore I was referred to that office to continue my care. I was hard to get an appointment due to volume of patience, and I was considering finding new OBGYN. I am very glad that I was patient and waited to see Dr. Morando. She is very personable, caring, professional and have an excellent bed side manners. I felt comfortable with her right away, which is not easy considering type of care she is providing! Office was clean and tidy. Wait time was no more than 10 minutes. Her medical staff was also friendly and caring!“

My son was seen here following two serious concussions after being beaten up at school. He's still not out of the woods. He was seen by Nicole Ionescu, MD for neuro-psych testing to see how his brain was affected. Staff is top notch, even reception as you walk past on the way to the elevators, they're welcoming and helpful. Parking garage is only $3 (credit cards only). Highest level care! They lose a star because the building doesn't seem adequately reinforced for earthquakes- but I'm far from an expert.“
