“Dr. Ariel has magic in her hands! I started seeing Dr. Ariel in 2020 in the height of the pandemic while pregnant with our first ivf miracle baby. She took care of me throughout pregnancy, during which I’d walk into her office with all kinds of pain from my growing belly and my significant scoliosis and walk out literally free of pain with so much more mobility. I’ve gone to many other chiropractors over the years and there is NO ONE else like Dr. Ariel. She helped me prepare for birth and get baby in the optimal position. Most recently I’ve been seeing her after a late pregnancy loss and her work has been so healing physically but also emotionally. A few weeks ago my son woke up with raging ear pain and was screaming from pain all day until we walked into Dr. Ariel’s office. I left with a happy child free of ear pain and we even avoided antibiotics directly because of Dr. Ariel’s adjustments. She can really do it all. What a gift to be cared for and supported by her!!!“

“Traci is an incredible fertility acupuncturist - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I started seeing Traci before an egg harvest cycle. She's now seen me through more than a year of care - with successful harvest, a healthy pregnancy, delivery and post-partum for our second child. Having worked with several fertility acupuncturists, Traci is truly in a league of her own.Competence. Traci has an expansive "toolkit" to address any issue or stage one might be in. As a former doula and midwife, she deeply understands the journey of pregnancy. She is also a mom, and can relate directly to experiences. Initially she worked with me to improve egg quality and quantity. She's helped improve my general health, and then a series of pregnancy complications. Most impressive has been her ability to keep my blood pressure low - to the astonishment of my doctors, and provide treatment around a breech baby (she's quite experienced in moxibustion). She's also helped me work through past medical trauma and create space to be an even better mom. She shares freely what she is doing and why, and compared to my past acupuncturists has a deeper knowledge and skill in delivering care. I was so grateful that she helped me go into labor naturally and avoid an induction. The results have been noticeable not only to me, but my husband and doctors. We need more Tracis in the world!Empathy and support. I joke that Traci is more than an acupuncturist - she's part therapist and part coach. She has a very gentle manner, and deeply listens and watches in each treatment and across treatments. She's provided so much insight and wisdom into the journey of being a working mom, and helped me find a higher sense of self through our work. In addition, she's in a practice of midwives and female physical therapists, so can make thoughtful recommendations on additional care.Relaxation. The office is an airy paradise...with light colored walls, welcoming receptionists, heated treatment tables, clean plants, and thoughtful music. It feels safe and relaxing, and parking is fairly easy on a nearby side street ($2 per hour).Ease. She has an easy online booking system, and I can usually get an appointment with 1-2 weeks advance notice. Traci has also squeezed me in countless times for an extra treatment - she always prioritizes taking care of her patients, even if it means taking extra time to let someone nap longer - or providing an extra treatment on the week of labor to help prepare. It's been seamless at every turn, and easy to communicate. She's been such a critical part of expanding our family, and bringing greater health, purpose, presence and well-being. I wish that every mom could experience the support and impact Traci offers - it's truly special.“

“I honestly cannot understand the bad reviews of this office. We are first time parents and both the office staff and the doctors have been incredible. Dr. Gerwein is our son's primary but we were also seen by Dr. Brinkley when she was rounding at the hospital. Both doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to even the slightest concern. We have never had any trouble getting an appt., even a couple last minute ones, and, to top it all off, their office has an INCREDIBLE lactation consultant, Amrit Khalsa (48 years of experience, including as a midwife) and they moved heaven and earth to make sure we were seen by her when we were struggling with breastfeeding. And she is covered by our insurance with only a $37 copay! Kudos to this practice for providing access to 360 degree, holistic care (they are only 1 of 3 practices in all of the East Bay that employ a lactation consultant). We feel so lucky we found this team!“

“We've been at EBP since we moved to the east bay from the city 13 years ago and have had a great experience there. Started with Dr. Charles-Mo and loved her. Since she retired, we've been with Dr. Handelsman, who has been awesome. All the doctors we've seen have been nice, attentive, and responsive to medical needs, even to more urgent ones.“

“We have been coming here for years and all of the staff and the doctors are amazing! Their emergency attention on-site, response time and telehealth during the pandemic was fantastic. Dr. Kalar and Dr. Frank's are amazing and they have been wonderful with our family for many years now. I had to write post pandemic to just reiterate how wonderful they are how well-prepared they were for treating our youngest family members. They have great staff and during the pandemic had outdoor screening rooms. Best place to have kids supported by medical Professionals in the Bay Area“

“DR. CELESTE ALLEN is God's Angel! Truly & honestly. My kids have been seeing Dr. Allen for over 10+ years. She is attentive, caring, and truly an amazing person. They started seeing Dr. Allen when we lived in Oakland. We moved to Hercules & then Pittsburg and I still drive 30-45 minutes so they can see her. She is that good. My oldest daughter is now 23 and still sees Dr. Allen. She dreads turning 25 because she will not be able to continue as her patient. I have been holding off on writing this review because I really didn't want to share Dr. Allen but I'm realizing that others need her as well. DR. CELESTE ALLEN IS THE BEST!“

“This is a review for the pediatric intensive care unit. My 2 year old was transferred here after going to the ER from the hospital in our town. I was told by a nurse that it was a new unit that opened in 2021. The rooms were private, clean, and spacious. My unit had a sofa that converted to a bed. The staff was attentive and whenever I used the call light, someone came to the room very quickly. The doctors and the medical team were responsive to all my questions and concerns. They really helped my son get better. Everyone there was nice and caring. They had a pulmonologist come talk to me and they did well to make sure I understood the action plan which was also on a hand out sheet for me to take home. They have a break room for patients' families with a refrigerator and microwave for visitors to use. The cafeteria which is on the same floor as the unit is clean, large, and spacious. Their food was good for being a hospital cafeteria. They had a large variety of food and snacks. Thank you Children's Hospital!“
