Jamie led us through a 3 year project that took many twists and turns as it spanned COVID which had many challenges including shortages in materials and people power. The MCC team navigated everything with professionalism, open communication and excellence. It was a long and arduous process but we came away with a wonderful house we love and great new friends. Not many can say that they still have Friday drinks long after project completion, but we can ! Thanks Jamie…. 10/10.
Jaryn did some bathroom repairs and a renovation for us. He is honest and hardworking and did a fabulous job in a timely manner. He takes pride in a job well done. Great communication. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again!
Top-tier service. After finishing a large interior painting contract, we needed the windows to look as good as the new paint. The team was punctual, thorough, and didn't miss a single spot or streak. On another exterior project, the windows were covered in dust after we sanded the posts and beams. They went above and beyond, cleaning off old stain marks left by previous painters and leaving the glass crystal clear. If you’re looking for a company that actually pays attention to the details, this is it.
This review comes from a sub-contractor's perspective but should also be useful for those looking into TM as their project manager/builder.
I have spent the last four years working on a project in Pemberton with TM. Here is some what I have experienced and what I think you will too:
1. Great People - I'll name some names: Gray, Gavin, Matt G, Boyd, Blake, these guys are absolutely awesome! They are passionate, meticulous, and always have the customer in mind.
2. Communication - From the Project Manager to the crew on the ground, TM is exceptionally organized. Scheduling was well taken care of and we always knew when and where we were supposed to be.
3. Team oriented - TM was quick to act whenever we needed something done or moved. We were always asked if we needed anything. For example just the other day I took a Pic of some drywall that had covered our device boxes and sent it to the super. Within 30 minutes Blake cut them out and I could finish them the same day.
4. Quality of Workmanship - The standard TM set is high. It felt good to walk onto site knowing the standard is the standard. I could really tell they take pride in what they do.
If you are a potential client, TM is seriously worth looking into for your next project.
If you are a sub-contractor and the opportunity arises TM is great to work with! Integrity, team oriented and great communicators!
If you are looking for a career in project management or on the tools, TM has fantastic people and awesome culture!
Building a custom home in Whistler can be a stressful and lengthy process, but working with David Girard and the Whistler Builder team has been the complete opposite for us. We have now done multiple projects with David, and the fact that we keep coming back says everything.
What stands out most is that David and his team don’t just do excellent work, they genuinely care about the result. David’s attention to detail is exceptional, and his trades and subcontractors are top-tier across the board. Everyone who was involved in the project clearly knew their craft and took pride in it. And just as important: nothing ever fell through the cracks. The organization and follow-through are outstanding.
Pricing is completely transparent. Every part of the project is broken down so you always know exactly where the money is going. No surprises, no vague lump-sum numbers. This gave us the confidence to decide exactly what was worth the investment.
Coordination with the architect, designer, and landscaper was seamless. It felt like one large team working toward the same goal, not a collection of separate companies.
And when the project was finished, they didn’t disappear. If something small came up or we had a question, they were there to help.

The whole team at Alair was awesome to work with from start to finish. They completely renovated our condo in Whistler and the whole process from budgeting to finishing the project was very easy and Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with. All trades were professional and courteous. They communicated with the Strata and every detail was done to code and within the timeframes promised. Schreyer Construction managed our new build, on a challenging lot, exceptionally well. Their professionalism and commitment to the project was outstanding. We have many trades come into our house and tell us it is one of the best built houses they have seen for quite some time. I would highly recommend Schreyer Construction.
Kennedy is great and actually listens to what you want. I left with my hair 10x better than it was when I arrived and an easy to maintain style!
Avreen is a young Indian stylist who did a great job for my wash and blow dry. His technique was slightly different than what I was used to but he took time to wash my hair carefully and did a very good job.

can manage myself with a salt spray! I was shown how to use a product recommended by Sarah, but not given a hard sell to purchase one from her. Stepping into Love is in the Hair is like entering a Tardis. Sarah's salon is spacious, bright and spotless.
Sarah is as lovely as the salon space she has created. I'm sure celebrities are used to this type of ambiance and service!

Need my hair to be done to attend a wedding. Walked in and an easy booking is made with Karen. Ccard info is needed and they’ll charge $1 for reservation. Got my updo with Sadie. It was great! It was done in 40 to 45mins ish. Karen and Sadie are such wonderful members of your company. They’re v accomodating and I felt at ease before, during and after the service.
Fleur gave an absolutely incredible massage today and I loved being able to use the pool, hot tub, and sauna after my treatment. The early riser special was simply amazing.

Would like to add that my spray tans have always been so good! Jill makes you feel so comfortable. A spray tan can be uncomfortable as you are generally naked and can feel exposed. Jill and her team have always made me feel comfortable. Even when I make funny sounds at the cold I am told “it’s all good girl!”.

Luxury from start to finish. Just outside the main village, the Four Seasons is easy to get to. They even offer free parking if you need to drive. The facilities are immaculate and the staff are ever helpful. By booking a treatment you get a free bath robe and slippers as well as unlimited towels and access to the resort's outdoor pool and hot tub. They also offer a great selection of add-ons to their standard treatments if you're looking for something extra.
Smaller than Kananaskis, but still good. Visited on a Sunday evening, so very quiet. Some debris in the pool, but other than that, great visit.
My first visit to the Vida Spa at Fairmont Whistler this week. I received an excellent 90 min muscle relaxing massage by Adrian. Adrian provided the perfect pressure by checking in with me, and had very effective massage techniques. Adrian, and the rest of the staff were very polite and professional. I would highly recommend Fairmont Spa — their amenities are also quite lovely!
I had an amazing experience with Steve! He is incredibly talented, patient, and highly skilled. His deep knowledge and years of experience really show in his work. I shared my ideas and a few design inspirations, and he turned them into exactly what I had envisioned, even better, actually! His attention to detail and artistic realism are truly impressive. Stacey always listens to exactly what we want / need and does amazing light-pressure relaxation massages alongside more deep-tissue styles that my partner likes. I was there whilst on vacation in Whistler. My masseur Tereza is very good. I did not tell her areas on my body which are hurting but she quickly feels them and worked very hard on those areas. Tereza is very attentive and checked with me constantly if the pressures were right at different spots.
Despite the masseur leaving the room twice, once to turn down the (not so good) guitar music that suddenly got louder, the massage was great! Having had 1,000's of massages, I was surprised to experience several new moves/strokes that felt very good. Then after waiting to pay (quite a bit) while she chatted with a friend on the phone, I tipped her for her expertise.
