As women, we often face the unfortunate reality of being mistreated, undermined, disrespected, or even ripped-off when visiting a mechanic. It’s happened to me on multiple occasions and that has made me feel anxious and hesitant any time I have to bring my vehicle in to a new shop. It was especially nerve-racking when my engine blew and a major repair was needed.Not only is Yannick an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, but he made me feel valuable and respected as a customer. He took the time to educate me every step of the way, which helped me to make an informed decision about what I was spending my money on - often times I am just trusting their word without fully understanding, but he made sure I knew exactly what I was saying yes to. He would frequently touch base to update me on the progress of the work being done so I was never wondering what was happening. He gave me a reasonable quote and there were no surprise expenses. If things came up that he thought could be fixed, he would break down the “why” and take the time to make sure I knew what he was talking about before leaving it in my hands to make the final decision. He even attempted to save me money where possible by finding good-condition used parts for some of the more minor fixes. I felt completely in the loop throughout the process and that’s because Yannick respected me enough to make sure of it.It may seem standard for some, but unfortunately this type of treatment is almost unheard of when you’re a woman, or someone who may not appear to be mechanically-inclined. When I popped in to pick up my vehicle with my boyfriend, even he was blown away by how friendly and helpful Yannick was in explaining everything. We left and he said “I love that guy!” ? That’s the type of energy Yannick gives off. He just seems to be an all-around good person.A month later and my car is still running great. I am grateful to have found such a capable and friendly place to bring my vehicle in Squamish.

Peter and his team has done wonders for our German shepherd!She was pretty reactive to other dogs because she was scared. But by using pack behaviour, I can tell there has been a lot of change in her.I truly appreciate Peter sending me videos every day to keep me updated about her. It makes me so happy there’s a place that I can take her for a big run and have fun safely with other dogs.I only wish they were closer to Vancouver ? so I can bring her more often

So impressed with the service at Newport! Not only were they able to check out my broken down car in the same day, they fixed it much faster than I was anticipating, they were super communicative, friendly, and transparent, and they did a nice little vacuum and fragrance spritz of my car afterwards (at least I think so - my car was much dirtier and a bit stinky when I handed it over to them, haha).
Honest and down to earth one man show. I was referred to Kenny by a friend in the Subaru space, as he's known for his work on Subarus. I ended up solving that issue myself, but brought my Toyota FJ in for some overdue work. Kenny had no issues resolving everything, did it quickly (i.e., he didn't overbill hours like some local shops like to do), and communicated excellently with me throughout the process. I've since referred Alta to a few friends who have also had great experiences. Definitely a good find and a shop I'd recommend to anyone in Squamish, especially if you drive a Japanese vehicle.

I cannot speak highly enough of Cory's expertise and programming to develop strength and rehab after injury, based on my goals. I had a devastating ski accident that tore my ACL, MCL, meniscus, and fractured my tibia. My surgeon predicted that it would be a minimum of one year post-surgery before getting back on the hill, but that I would likely need to take a whole season off.Training with Cory I was back to skiing and snowboarding after only nine months post-surgery, which is just about unheard of. I am pain-free and have regained my strength and functional fitness. Cory's approach is completely individualized and he also provides guidance on recovery, nutrition, etc. It's been an empowering journey to enjoy again all the activities that I love!
We have used Twin Peaks for three big projects—exterior painting, interior painting, and window cleaning on a three story house—over the last few years and would highly recommend them. Shem and his team are very dependable, professional, and fast!Nothing about painting our house or cleaning out windows is easy, as it is very tall and has natural cedar siding, so it requires a bucket truck and scaffolding, and the siding drinks paint! We also used three different colours. Our house looks so amazing, and people comment on the job all the time.Recently, Twin Peaks came inside for us and painted our interior. Again, we couldn’t be happier! We are picky because we do a lot of our home renovations ourselves, but Shem and his team always makes sure everything is perfect for us. We will never use anyone else!

My computer had been having problems such as freezing, unexpected shutdowns and the touchpad stopped working. Took my laptop in and was fixed within a day. Turned out to be a Crack in one of the solder connections. Nice guy and great service. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a great experience using BIllie's House for our wedding! I had a very minimalistic idea in mind and a small budget (was just looking for a bouquet for myself, and 3 smaller bridesmaids bouquets that would be taken apart later for table decor). The team was able to keep me in budget, and provide me the most beautiful bouquets!
Great place for self washing. Equipment is well maintained and the garage is well lit. Water is warm so you'll clean things faster. The owner / shop attendant was really nice. Highly recommended.

My dog is posting this rating. He loves the staff and the treats. He loses his everloving mind when we go there.They carry Fruitables which is the main reason I go to Bosleys over other local shops. I prefer my pockets smell like pumpkin and blueberries instead of salmon or liver. The dog loves them. Thank goodness ? ?
